Indeed Dave ... it would be interesting if anybody else apart from Slangking can remember him saying it either? Paul Spencer had his fingers in his ears saying naanaananananana when Pulis was saying this on Radio Stoke, therefore said interview never happened. To be fair i don't think it was just Paul, i haven't heard of ANYONE who heard it......... apart from you of course mmmmmm

Fact of the matter about Fuller is that whilst he might score the odd spectacular goal, or go on the odd mazey run, he is not a team player.
Pulis has allowed him to get away with it because we had no better option. Now we have developed the side.
If Fuller wants to start, he is going to have to start passing the ball. The only time that Fuller passes generally is when he is about to get kicked up in the air.
He entertains and frustrates me in equal measure, and I'm sure that the management team must see this too.

I think it was on a thread where the usual suspects were rounding on Tuncay in their usual mindless way of belittling anyone or anything that appears out of favour with the manager that I suggested that a further spell on the bench for Fuller would see the manager supporter fans turn on the man who has done as much as anyone to give us hope in countless games.
It says it all that this is led by AGSF via a report on the media by which he supports Stoke when the chips are down.
You just couldn't make it up!

Slangking is on 1 big wind up ..... Not really, I'm exaggerating to make a point I'll grant you, but he isn't good enough, doesn't do enough for long enough or score enough to get a starting place, to move on he has to stay on the bench, he's alright when he comes on thinking he is going to save the day, gets pist off if he has to play the whole game. He was definitely part of the problem from last season and one of the main reasons why we didn't score enough. are you retarded?

I would expect something better from a non-retard?

I'm really wracking my brains now, but I can vaguely remember TP doing an interview at the end of last season sometime and he was praising Fuller. I can distinctly remember a little anecdote that TP slipped in, wherein he was saying how Fuller is so laid back that at times he just wants to kill him, such as Wolves away in the promotion season. Apparently TP was taking the game as seriously as you'd expect when Ricardo came up to him in a laid back fashion and said that he was feeling a little tight (or something) and wouldn't be able to start, he'd be better off coming off the bench. The story finished with the nice heartwarming bit about Fuller coming off the bench to tear Wolves apart and win us the game, before telling TP that he needs to chill out a bit more. That's the only thing I can think of that slangking might be talking about.
Not that I care. For me Fuller is still our best main striker and has been since he arrived at the club. We have not yet brought in a striker who offers us what Ricardo offers us.

"Because Pulis said he requested to be sub on many occasions in a radio interview and he has had to virtually beg him to play. " Is the one Wolves example really proof that this happens on "many occasions" and that Pulis has had to "virtually beg him to play"? You have two degrees so I'll bow down to your superior interpretation.

He gave the Wolves game as an example, fcuk me, you aren't really that thick are you?

So I take it Pulis said, or at least insinuated, that he has done this many times then? You heard it so enlighten me.

Jones in the 'Fuller role' Walters in the 'Mama role' Works for me I'd rather see Fuller in the Fuller role and Kenwyne in the Mama role.
