Slangking
Fuller isnt up to it??
LOL
That is the most idiotic post ive ever read. Fuller is key to us scoring goals end of. The guy is a class act. Even Merson (who hates Stoke) said if he was more consistent he'd be at Man utd, Chelsea or Arsenal.
What planet are you on?

slangking is clearly a troll, only a moron or a non-stokie would come out with the kind of bollocks he's written tonight

Hold on, I've just checked and found that as I had thought Fuller didn't start either of the last two games, and there was me thinking he was supposed to be first name on the team sheet, undroppable, unplayable, rather than someone who scored 3 lousy goals in the league last season. 99.9% of people believe he did start so that's alright then
But still, I'm not bothered by what a few thick cnuts have to say.

Slangking is on 1 big wind up ..... Not really, I'm exaggerating to make a point I'll grant you, but he isn't good enough, doesn't do enough for long enough or score enough to get a starting place, to move on he has to stay on the bench, he's alright when he comes on thinking he is going to save the day, gets pist off if he has to play the whole game. He was definitely part of the problem from last season and one of the main reasons why we didn't score enough.

I have to say that I have found the ramblings of Slangking both surprising and amazing. Never in my life did I think I could stumble on a person that knows less about football than my own mate. In fact, if I didn't know that my mate was currently making his way back from playing football this evening, I would swear that Slangking could indeed be him. Fuller is no longer up to it...Fuller contributes nothing...Fuller is no threat in front of goal! I have heard it all now. Fuller has started 2 games this season and has come on as a sub 3 times. In those games, he has scored 1 goal, hit the cross bar, turned around a losing cause in our favour and almost scored an unbelievable goal of individual brilliance, yet we still have someone maintaining, whether on the wind up or otherwise, that he is justifiably ommited from our starting 11. Fuller has carried our teams attacking threat almost single handedly for 4 seasons now. The only thing that Slang is right on is that we needed some new forward players. More importantly than anything, we needed a decent partner for Ric, and in KJ we just so happen to have found one. Ric now has the opportunity to play with better players. Better players who will ensure that the opposition cannot put 4 players on Ric. Fuller is class and when Mr Pulis grows a set of bollocks and actually restores him to his rightful position in the team, he will continue to show us all just how good he really is. In fact, I would go as far as to say, that if Pulis does find his bollocks, then Ric will have his best ever season in a Stoke shirt. I was wondering when this clown would arrive ;D Other than getting his head on the end of a Rory throw he offers little or no threat nowadays. He simply had to be dropped as he was making Mama look like Drogba. His shooting is absolutely laughable and embarrassing, granted he can turn a defender here or there, he might be turned into a decent winger, but he isn't a striker any more. Turned into a decent winger, dont make me fucking laugh. What a fucking stupid notion that is.

Slangking how do you know that Fuller has asked not to start? cheers Because Pulis said he requested to be sub on many occasions in a radio interview and he has had to virtually beg him to play.

Let us look at the striking situation
Jones - £8million - suits Pulisball, a real threat - a shoe in Fuller - done brilliant for the club, on his day unplayable. Those days are becoming fewer and fewer. Tuncay - eye for goal, skillful, but Pulis has an issue with him. Walters - journeyman workhorse, full of effort, a Pulis player Gudjohnsen - quality footballer who's carrying a bit of timber.
My ideal partnership would be Jones/Gudjohnsen but until he gets fit he will be getting splinters. Pulis will go with Walters. Personally I'd start with Fuller but it's pretty easy to see why Walters gets the nod.

Did he? I'm gobsmacked that you're the first person to mention that on here. And to be fair, even if that has happened in the past, you don't know for sure, that that's the current situation now.

Fuller - done brilliant for the club, on his day unplayable. Those days are becoming fewer and fewer. Really? I thought he was at least as good, if not better, last season as he was in the first season up. Ok he only got 3 league goals but he scored 8 in total and only 2 of those were against poor opposition. His all-round play was just as good as ever and if anything he got far more assists last season. He's a player that I think many would expect to decline quickly when he starts to decline, but I wouldn't say that has started yet.

We have won six league away games since we were promoted to the Premier League...
2-0 West Brom... Ricardo set us on the way with the first goal 2-1 Hull City... Ricardo scored the first and set up Lawrence for the second
1-0 Spurs... goal came from amazing work by Ricardo to set up Whelan 2-1 Portsmouth... Last gasp run by Ricardo to set up Diao 1-0 West Ham... Stunning goal by Ricardo - all his own work 1-0 Fulham... Mazy run down the flank by Ricardo to set up Etherington for the win
The defence rests its case!
Anyone who cannot see the value of Fuller in the team is just being silly.

err no season ticket holder, and I have seen more than enough of him now, we need players who can score goals surely even you can see that? We need ones capable of creating them, unless you think strikers just have to turn up, scratch their arse for a bit, blink and then knock a couple in? We don't create many chances, and a large number of what we do create has been in large part thanks to Fuller. Hence us creating pretty much fuck all when he's not in the team. so all fuller to us is someone who wins fouls? its not the best argument to have someone in the team - id say its more of an argument to seriously question the whole way we set up and our personnnel - and the managers sanity!

Jones in the Mama role and Fuller as the spearhead is potentially the best combination we have. Fuller causes mayhem, wins countless free-kicks and throw ins, and anybody who has the faintest idea about what they're watching can see that. I'd also be interested to see how Tuncay would perform if Jones plays as the front-man and Tunc gets the chance to play in the hole behind him. Tuncay never had a suitable strike partner last season, but I think Jones has the attributes to bring out the best in anybody who plays alongside him. However, I'd choose either of these combinations ahead of having Walters run around a lot behind Jones. Nothing is beyond Pulis though when it comes to ignoring the obvious solution. agree with 100%
