I will be attending tomorrow night as usual, but with Stoke expecting a low gate I wonder why people aren't going the match? I know people have their reasons and whatever they might be I respect them. My old man, a ST holder just isn't interested to watch the reserves as he calls it. A mate just can't get out of work. Besides lowering the price, could Stoke do more to get a larger attendance?

Love the early rounds of the cups, especially against 'lesser' teams. Gives you a chance to cast an eye over the fringe/young players.

With a 270 mile round trip the cost of fuel makes the ticket price irrelevant. Night games have to be against more exciting opposition than Swindon to make me want to pay for the trip and spend the 8 or 9 hours getting there and back. To answer the question - for me - only top opposition or the later stages of the cups is going to get me there.

I've missed 1 home game in the last 7/8 years (league &cup) and that was Wolves in FA cup final season as it was moved and I was on holiday for the rearranged fixture,,,, but tomorrow... I just don't think I can be arsed. Reserves, zero atmosphere, mates ain't going, not sitting in usual seat etc number of things...
Having said that I may well change my mind between now and then. ;D

If I aren't watching Arsenal or United or City then I aren't interested. I'll be there in the JS Upper!

I'm going, enjoy the early rounds of the cup, chance to sit elsewhere from my normal seat (in block 12 tomorrow) with the boy.
Usually go in the JSU because the bar is nicer when we get the chance, boy wanted to slum it in the lower tomorrow!

300 mile round trip so can't go to many games. Swindon are a decent side though and will be by no means a forgone conclusion.

Because I won't pay out any more money to watch Pulis's shit football. If it was 40 pence to get in I still wouldn't go on the basis I wouldn't get value for money.
