Remember the Rochdale game some years back where we were 2 down after 10 minutes? This has every chance of being a version of that game scaled to our current status. Saying that I miss a lot of our prem games through work so ill be there. The good run of 15 months ago started with a cup game, it could yet happen again?????

It can't be any worse than getting outplayed by a 10 man Darlington. A Pulis team consisting of Jeff Whitley, lil Ant, Sweeney & a Mama/Pericard front line.. What a team. Quality goal from Joachim though, proper screamer.

I’m going tonight, and I will be taking three screaming kids to their first ever Stoke match. Woe betide anybody sitting next to me. There will be questions asked, standing up, high pitch singing, toilet visits, kicking the seat in front, and will just be me. Be warned.

Just been down to get tickets and there was a steady queue of 8/10 people getting tickets, the geezer behind the glass said 'get in early if you all want to sit together (unreserved seating) as its been a damn site busier than we expected - it's going to be a decent crowd'. I hate it when they do unreserved seating - I always get the cock insisting on sitting in his season ticket seat arguing that he 'sits in it every other match so I'm sitting in it tonight'

I got some strange looks from those in the queue when I popped up to get my Wigan tickets wearing a Chesterfield shirt with Stoke shorts!

A good friend of mine is a Chesterfield fan and I went to the Johnstones Paint Trophy final with him last season. He bought me a shirt for the occasion so when I'm working at home, I tend to doss about the house in a T Shirt and shorts. The Chesterfield top happens to be one of my dossing shirts, and I couldn't be arsed to smarten myself up just to pop up to the ground to buy a Wigan ticket. Such is my sense of humour, I also thought it would be funny to see what looks or comments it generated!

Why am I wearing a Chesterfield shirt?
Because I want to!
Because I can!
Because although I support Stoke, a very good friend of mine is a Chesterfield die hard and when Stoke haven't been playing, I have often gone over and watched them.
I have an affinity with them so when I went to their big Cup Final last season, I got into the spirit of things and wore a Chesterfield shirt...much like he wore a Stoke shirt when he came to watch us in the Autoglass Trophy final v Bristol City.
Is that OK with you?

Should of known you would pop up Jokelad.
I never said I had missed 2 games in 20 years you stupid little prick. I said that I had missed 2 away games in 20 odd years THROUGH CHOICE prior to the Chelsea game last season.
Sometimes, work commitments or unavoidable family commitments get in the way of a game, home or away.
I have now missed 5 (2 + Chelsea, Wigan and QPR last season) THROUGH CHOICE and will miss a whole lot more this season as watching the shit that your hero offers up away from home simply isn't worth it.
If you want to get into a bit of baiting, banter or abuse, at least make your abuse factual having had the nerve to insinuate that I was a liar in one of your stupid posts last week.
AND YES...If I want to wear a Chesterfield shirt, I will wear one!
