Bayern look crap. Maybe no trophy for Kane after all. I still don't know why he went to Bayern, such a strange transfer. 2-0 Leipzig. Can only think Levy would only sanction a move if it was to a non Premier League Club & Bayern were the only ones who came in with reasonable terms for Kane & Levy. Saw Shearer sat Smug on MoTD last night realising his Prem scoring record will remain intact & unchallenged for some time to come yet! Huge void for Spurs to fill I'm still hoping Kane returns and beats it. He definitely can do it, hopefully he doesn't stay at Bayern long.

Does anyone think it would be possible to actually move the titanic? Or is that a crazy notion due to it's size and weight? Impossible. It would be destroyed on an attempt, also I don't think the ship will even be there in a matter of 50 years as it will degrade away.

I've watched him the last 2 seasons every game and I can assure you that he is definitely a Premier League calibre player. He has an eye for goal, he's fast, holds the ball up well and his work ethic is incredible. He absolutely carried that Rovers team. Yes he is now Point is he looked very ordinary when he was here, absolutely no hint of the player he has become Yeah and that's completely fair to say.

For me he is the most technically gifted footballer of all time. Not the best player, but the most technically gifted for sure. The stuff he could do with the ball is freakish. I've only seen one other player control a ball in a similar way to him and that was Berbatov. I don't know how anybody actually gets that level of skill. Those very special human beings with that god given talent.

If only we could sign this guy. I work at Rovers and spoke with him multiple times about Stoke. He only speaks highly of the club and city and he is a fantastic player and runs his bollocks into the ground. Off to Villarreal last I heard about it, but it's gone quiet over there so not sure what the situation is now.

How incredibly selfish. Wouldn't care if his teams losing 5-0 as long as he gets his 90th minute tap in to SIUUUUU all over the disabled section of fans.

Well I'd question how he will perform at that level with everything that's happened with him. Curious if Bruno will play more advanced than him. Could turn out to be a really great signing, I would have imagined Utd would've looked at other options than a 30 year old Eriksen though. Frenkie De Jong is meant to be joining so they have. Another lovely footballer. I think Eriksen brings a maturity that Pogba and Ronaldo don't have. A team ethos that neither have. And is the complete opposite of them completely. Willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the team. He's a fantastic player and a fantastic pro. Something they're missing. He is in a similar mould to players they have rid of though right? I mean Pogba I agree with the maturity sides of thing, but he is an unreal player. I think with De Jong that will change the way they play more than an Eriksen

Why? He's a fantastic player and Man Yoo need all the fantastic players they can get. He's a class footballer and works his socks off. He's exactly what they need isn't he? I agree he's a fantastic player but him, Bruno, De Jong and even Van De Beek are all slight variations of the same player, if they put 3 of those in the same team they'll get smashed week in week out. They need a top class striker, a top class defensive midfielder and a top class quick defender. They had Juan Mata and Paul Pogba. They had problems at that point and they've replaced them with a similar player. Eriksen is a great player, but I don't think he's going to make massive changes to their team.

If everyone started to just "run up fast and twat it" I think there would be a parallel universe where we are saying why don't we start using more technique and guile in our penalties

The arrogance thing is just bullshit. And anyone misunderstanding it’s coming home is just weird. It’s a self deprecating song about the daft hope we have despite their not being much reason for it. And personally I totally agree with you. But other people don't seem to look at it the way "most" English people look at it and it almost comes across as motivation.

Something that has been talked a lot lately with the past few England games and it has got me thinking. I made a post a while back about when Arnautovic was coming to the Brit with West Ham and I was saying how booing him would be ineffective. He received a lot of shit and as far as I can remember he ended up ripping us apart and performing hammer signs to the crowd.
It's clear to me that the treatment we gave him motivated him and thus he ended up helping his team. Would we have won the game or not if we didn't treat him this way? I don't know, but there's evidence to my point.
Now with the England games and the excessive "It's coming home" / Rio Ferdinand comments “If I was England, would I rather play Spain or Italy? It doesn’t matter, England take care of both of these teams. England are better than both of them.” / Booing of national anthems. There's a lot of attention there and a lot of "Arrogance" that's perceived by opposition fans/players. The question is are we just motivating opposition and not doing ourselves any favours? It's great to be excited and cheer and sing about it coming home, but where do we draw the line? Is this something that we get unnecessary stick for and other nations do the same or are we simply just too much.
Tonight was annoying as fuck having to watch Bonucci shout "It's coming to Rome" through my TV screen and see Chiellini posing with the trophy with the exact same caption. Sometimes I feel we shoot ourselves in the foot. Something that was fun is now just painful and is just taken by them into "It's coming to Rome"
I don't know where I'm going with this anymore as I'm drunk, but thought I'd share the thought. Grazie! Uh I mean thanks.

Well Sky didn't fill the sacked old men's spaces with non caucasian LGBT presenters. They still promote the BLM bullshit though and Toxic Tone is still as boring as fuck. Is there a decent alternative ? GD I am almost certain I will regret asking this but why exactly is BLM bullshit? Burn loot and murder

Was watching the Leeds game and saw this guy score an incredible goal and it came to me that I remember him being talked about on here by another poster. That his family knew him or something? Or that it was some sort of relative and he went through the MLS system... Anyway I googled him and yep seems like it's the guy! Cracking goal, looks like he has bags of pace too.

Depends what you class as foreign too. There's obviously going to be more competition with other countries and more chances of finding a successful manager when comparing to just the British Isles.

Forget the win, or its size. Forget league safety. Forget what MON has done. All that pails into insignificance compared with the news I had just after the final whistle. The news I've dreamed of for years. Nello rang to tell me that I've been appointed as Chair of the Neil Baldwin Football Club. You may remember the scene in the film where I was disappointed when Gary Lineker was appointed President and not me. That's all forgotten now. I've been on the Board of NBFC for decades, even though there's never actually been a meeting in that time because Nello has been too busy, but it looked like being Chair would forever be beyond my reach. But now with Gaz as President and me as Chair, there will be no stopping us. If Carling did memorable evenings........................... If you need a winger with a bit of pace and a fantastic leap and bullet header then sign me up Malcolm lad.
