Not getting carried away - the stats tell us all we need to know. If the board want to go back up, and they shift players on, and trust MoN to re-build and re-model what we have, a play off spot shouldn't be out the question. Agree completely with, Skip. Stats tell us everything and I genuinely feel if we had MON since the start we'd be fighting for a playoff place. Back this man.

Today. Beat a top team and made the 2nd place team beg on their knees. WE ARE STOKE.

I honestly don't think Butland would have save that near full time equaliser. I don't think he would've saved the header from the first chance they had. We've looked so much more confident with Davies.

It was an Arteta masterclass apparently. When we do it then it's Rugby tactics. Tbh they were really good I thought. Man City only threatened when Arsenal fucked around it and they broke with pace and a clinical edge. It was really good.....sadly. They defended well and they have Aubameyang, but apart from that they didn't seem that great. Man City were overplaying nearly every attack, Sterling was very poor. Arsenal had 9 at the back for a large majority of the game. Reminded me of us vs them.

I'm just glad we don't have to listen to the interviews of Jones "Look.." And then followed by the same scripted shit he's thought in his head laying in bed at 1 am.

It's annoying to think about how long we've stayed with managers like Hughes and Jones. The amount of time Jones was given to play funny buggers was appalling. Hughes is the best Stoke manager in my lifetime. Tone.

When he got the job I said it would be an absolute miracle to keep us up with the mess Jones had left us in. And it is. Fucking magic! It's annoying to think about how long we've stayed with managers like Hughes and Jones. The amount of time Jones was given to play funny buggers was appalling.

I still can't believe as fans (me included) how much of his shit we ate, how much time we all gave him and how easily we went on him for so long - even though he clearly had no idea what he was doing. If he'd have stayed a few more games we'd have gone down Yep every weekend he was feeding us a plate of shit and piss and we gobbled it down for far too long.

Aye the second one was quite fortunate, but the first one was quite intelligent defending and good recovery. He has been shaky but today I can't really fault anyone defensively. Indi was poor. Should have given away a peno and just his usual self. McClean very lucky too with his push. What was he thinking? He works hard but lacks in ability

Chester at a 6? I thought Chester was excellent. Bailed us out of trouble twice. The second falling over tackle he got very lucky with. His initial fuck up and then he fell over. One of his better games for us but he still looks shaky. Aye the second one was quite fortunate, but the first one was quite intelligent defending and good recovery. Ace player. Surprised he didn't seem appreciated at his clubs. A great goalscorer and most of the time from midfield or outwide position. I remember thinking the same when he was playing for Chelsea.

I never really rated Arnie as highly as others on here. He is a good player, but I just always felt he was inconsistent and his attitude was questionable
