How can he coach his genius into others?
He did things I've never seen forwards or wingers do before him or since.
Could be a great coach for Campbell.

let me guess Bursik doesn't get any blame for the third too...

not parry it back between the goal posts. it's pretty simple goalkeeping to push it wider Fucking behave yourself To be fair, it did look poor. Poor initial positioning, slow response which resulted in the fumble. Definitely not on his own for the goal though, Bakers mistake is the most frustrating.

Baker lost the ball cheaply Wilmott got done too easily Bursik does what Bursik does

They've done nothing too.

I don’t know how to post photos on here so here it is… Sheff Utd 15.2 Stoke 14.0 West Brom 13.9 Norwich 13.8 Millwall 13.1 QPR 12.7 Luton 12.6 Sunderland 12.6 Burnley 12.5 Boro 12.1 Swansea 11.9 Blackpool 11.7 The shots ratio must be a lot higher than under O’Neil, We just need our strikers to get their shooting boots on now. Interesting metric. What do we look like on expected goals? I'd imagine quite a bit lower which then makes our shots per game look desperate, or ill thought out, which is how it has felt so far. If we can end the season with more certainty about our squad going into next season, mid table, with players developing and an upwards trajectory it will be a good season based upon where we are right now.

Great header, but that's some pretty generous defending!!

All we need to do is give the ball away more! To be fair, we do. Data analysis means football is becoming more chess like. Well structured teams with their mind fully focused on just keeping a clean sheet have a fairly good chance of doing just that. But if you tease them into thinking they can get a goal they have a chance of bringing out their inner chimp and letting the other team counter on them. If you arent technically good enough or tactically good enough to break these teams down, then entering "chaos" mode isn't the dumbest thing... you see some of the top teams do it. But we, foolishly keep thinking we will break teams down playing incredibly methodically once they've scored, keeping the ball and moving it slowly. The opposition dont really need to adjust do they?

He needs three yards in which to control the ball. People talked about Joe Allen's second touch being a tackle. Laurent is no better. Joe Allen has achieved more in the game than Josh Laurent could ever dream of achieving. No comparison to be made, Joe Allen shits all over him. Pretty much bar none, Joe Allen was the worst midfielder we have had in recent years. He had so much opportunity to do well for us, but failed pretty much on every occasion. Every game he played in he offered next to nothing for the attackers and no protection to the backline. Our midfield was always overran. Laurent looks physically commanding, strong, tall, fast, decent in the air. He simply offers way more protection to the backline but his touch isnt as good as Joes. It'll be interesting to see over the remainder of the season if Laurent can show he can get a good relationship / understanding with the rest of the team.

Fox needs to pass the ball forward much faster or get off the pitch.

Couldn't wait to stick the boot in 🙄 To be fair he is probably the weakest link in the team and has been for the majority of the time he has played for us. Until his dads death it felt to me like his time here needed to come to an end. But in the most awful of circumstances he has played his best football which shows an unbelievable amount of character. For that reason alone he'll get my support.

He's looked decent as a defensive left back with a player infront of him who does all the attacking down that side.
His biggest weakness is his crossing, which is weird when he's okay at passing.

He looks like a man amongst boys, so much stronger and quicker than the competition. Baker must love having him next to him.

They should be banned from all footballing activities for a year if it was a “joke”. All football activities? So they can't play subbuteo? I believe they have only been banned from hard tackles so far. Wonder what else they will get?

about twenty years ago me and my mates went there. can't remember the score, but at the time they were a better outfit than us.
After the game we had bricks thrown at us send our car by primary school kids. don't think I've been up that way much since 😂.
Any nicer?

season changing result?
Potentially one that gets the fans on side.
Without Tymon, Powell and Souttar too.

Pejic proper grinds my gears. Awful understanding of modern day football. Frustrating to listen to his commentary. Any redeeming qualities? my dad says Pej and smithy best Co commentators. All about opinions What does he like about them?

Didn't Southampton make an offer to buy him this summer for £14-16m?
He looks like he's been so physically ahead in youth football that he's not had to be as sharp mentally. He needs time to adjust as physically against men he isn't as dominant.
Bar Baker, none of the players are standing out for the right reasons this season.

looks like a defensive 343, which moves to a 5-4-1 under intense pressure. So 5-4-1 from the off 😂

No singing Shite atmosphere Toxic as fuck Groaning at every little fault Groaning at Joe Bursik even after his dad has sadly passed away a couple of days ago and is still playing Booing at a new manager These things aren’t when we are 3 or 4 nil down either.. at nil nil and when we are still in the game No wonder we are so shite at home, must be horrible to play here (For our own players!) So much pressure, no wonder our own players shit it at our home games. We need a singing and standing area ASAP and stop being toxic cunts.. we are where we are so face it, either back the players or hold them back This isn't a new thing, it's been going on since the last premier league season with Pulis. We've become expectant, it happens to lots of clubs our size. Unfortunately for us, we spent a large consistent period of time in the premier league and it seems to have prepared us as fans poorer than those who have bounced between the leagues.

Wonder if Neil will play a formation soon that actually suits the players? This has been crap from start to now. A left winger at right wing back and a right wing back at left wing back. Just play a sodding back four and move on. Fox is a left back, play Sterling at right back. Wonder what that formation us

We look like we are 4 up, trying to make the game as flat as possible and to offer no attacking threat. Sterling has looked solid defensively and offered more going forward than expected.

McCarron not on the bench again. What are your thoughts on this? Is he finding it difficult to adjust like Tymon did to start with, or is he just not good enough.
