What's so wrong if people don't want to watch a game in the stadium at 3pm?
Its weird not giving fans a choice.

Didn't watch yesterday so can't comment on that, but in most games I've watched him in this season he's been a very good player for us.
He's an absolute unit and gets around the pitch really well and has been part of the reason for our turn around.
Pleased he's at the club and if I was him, who is a much better player than our league position, receiving constant abuse I'd leave in the summer.
If he's looking for an area to improve, it would be his finesse with his touch or his passing.

I'm so fucking sick of changing managers. We've had a dozen and it's made no difference whatsoever. The bloke is obviously thirsty to have a long career in management. Let him learn how to do it. Exactly this. Don't think any of us expected to concede 3 against Swansea, we'd seemingly turned a corner. So he did well to get us back to earning points again today. We only need three more points to be pretty confident of securing another season in the championship, unless there are exceptional points from Huddersfield and Wednesday. Last thing we need is another manager, we've had too much change without giving a manager ling enough to start bringing through real progress. Our worst mistake like this was sacking O'Neil, he did a great job for us. Schumacher needs time to help the younger players develop and to implement his attacking football. We need lower play over turnover so we can create relationships in the club!

I’m trying to think of a worse striker I’ve seen in the near 30 years I’ve been going, and having great difficulty doing so. Do you have to think back that far? Wesley? Gayle? Not a fan of his but he's good enough to be a squad player.

Brave selection, can't accuse him of bottling it, feels more Schumacher again.
Hopefully it gets us the necessary points.

We need one win and draw in the next 5.
50 points and Sheff Wed and Huddersfield would need 51 due to their goal difference, which another 8 points in 4 games should be a huge ask.

If Haaland doesn’t get the ball then may as well play with 10 men. Shock horror Foden doesn’t turn up in a big game. Erm? What a strike too

They want to build a 60,000 capacity stadium 😂 Sounds like that's a long way down the line, ultimately fair play to them for considering it all. Feels a little premature to be releasing this with a huge relegation fight on their hands.

Not sure if it's been commented on yet, but during Walters video he gave the impression next season's squad would be smaller than it has been this year, so as to give a better pathway for promising youth players such as Lowe, Sidibe and Tezgel. For me that's a great positive and will help managers manage the morale of the squad better as well as allowing us to develop youth. It depends on how much smaller doesn’t it? One of Lowe or Tezgel on the bench makes sense. Sidibe probably needs a loan? Unless we have him on the bench and then actually use him. Which tbh I would have done this season over Laurent every day of the week. Do you trust Okagbue or Baker as your 4th choice CB and playing 0-10 games a season? Not sure I do. Okagbue has all the physical attributes to prove me wrong though. I really like Griffiths. Presses, bloody good footballer, disciplined, works etc. But again probably needs a loan. Simkin as 3rd choice keeper? Not sure what he’s learning there. 2nd choice though. I’d keep him here. It’s a difficult balance between developing them here and them actually getting the game time they need. And it doesn’t help that I think we’ve wasted time with the likes of Simkin, Lowe and Sidibe as it is. Yeah balance is always important, but think it's fair to say we've had too big of a squad ever since being relegated. At the start of the season Campbell, Wesley, Gayle, and Mmaee were ahead of Lowe and Tezgel. 6 forwards for 1 spot is crazy. Genuinely think if we have 2 main strikers + 2 development strikers pushing each other to get on the bench is a good thing. As you say, similar in midfield too, although Laurent for me is a quality midfielder at this level he just has his limitations with his short game. Ultimately Sidibe should have been on the bench for every game he wasn't starting. Baker and Okagbue could both be fighting for the 4th spot, they couldn't be any worse than Clark and if they were I'd be comfortable with it. Need to take risks on allowing youth to develop. GK think Simkin could go out on loan and have someone like Blondy as 3rd for a season, appreciate this would make us weaker short term.

Really pleased we've got Walters.
We possibly could have brought someone in with more experience or qualifications, but we've needed more than that for some time now.
As a club the thing we've missed the most is someone who can bind and bring everything together, to me he feels best placed to do it.
Like his footballing career, anything he's not as natural at, he will work on to make the most out of this opportunity.
Come on Super John!

Neil wanted a target man, he got one.
But, one who had missed nearly 2 seasons through 2 bad injuries and since then had scored less than 1 in 10 in the spanish second division.
Really wouldn't suit Schumacher's style of football so fortunately he'll be just a one season flop.

Making improvements? He's a grown adult being paid thousands of pounds a week after we forked out millions of pounds to sign him. Making improvememts doesn't cut it in the slightest. Get that, but that's not generally how it works, even if that's the way we'd like it to be and also the way that feels reasonable. Unfortunately, the more guaranteed something is, the bigger likelihood someone is going to take it for granted. Add more money into that equation, all it does is exaggerate behaviour one way or the other. This is only a problem if it impacts others negatively in the short term. Changing behaviours and mindset can be harder to do than improving technique and fitness, so you need to give it time and be supportive of someone through it. That or lose all transfer value and still have to pay his wages...

Assuming he is still engaged with the clubs progress and is making improvements re his discipline then for me he's a player we can build upon for next year.
Yesterday he showed more strength and urgency when holding the ball up, in addition to his continued excellence of understanding what is going on around him on the pitch blended with his quality control of the football. Can't really judge him too much on his finishing because as a team we generally don't create many chances.
If he's here next year, it would be great to get players much closer to him.
LW, Junho, Manhoef behind Mmaee could be quality next year.

Should put a bid in for souttar Can only see them loaning Souttar out now as very few clubs would be open to spending the money required to sign him (like Hoever). But we should make an offer to loan him for next season before the end of june so they can write off the wage contribution off the books. Iversen they signed for c£250k so they will be very keen to sell and have limited bargaining power, we can seriously low ball them, how we have been in the past.

We need to keep the signings down to a minimum and work on players forming relationships and patterns of play with each other this summer. Then in January we can re-evaluate. keep Iversen (on another loan) Bonham Simkin Hoever (another loan) Junior Wilmot Rose New CB (unlikely to be Mcnally due to Burnley relegation) Okagbue Baker New LB Stevens or Gooch New CM Laurent Baker Sidibe Burger Thompson Manhoef Leris Vidigal (sell if reasonable offers, potentially replace with Haks) Junho Ennis Mmaee Lowe Tezgel Bomb: Gooch or Stevens Johnson Wesley Clark Fielding Blondy Pearson But that is a squad that’s in a relegation battle and rightly so. What would change? That CB list is fucking frightening in particular! Since we've been relegated most players have looked better playing for another team than us, for me that's because we've changed too much each season. This seasons performance is down to two managers using different football styles and lots of new players that need to be bedded in. So we get better by: *Reducing the amount of player turnover *Bringing through youth *Keeping hold of the manager *Developing the players *Playing the managers preferred style of football without relegation fears

Tough gig.
They've got an attack based team, that's now not scoring. If they go defensive it'll likely generate the kind of results we had when we got relegated.
So not even sure Warnock can help now.

Haks deserves to start. As does Mmaee Strange how people see a game differently. I thought he was terrible in line with his performances in general since he’s been here. Fairly similar to the early Junho days where people just weren't sharp enough around him and so his attempts didnt quite look right. Haks has also missed a lot of minutes so could still be feeling his way into the game. For me hes working hard, moves off the ball VERY well, he just needs games. Would be tempted to buy him in the summer if he's available at the right price.
