Well here’s one to ponder being asked to see the ABBA hologram show, mid priced tickets are £142 each, plus hotel, train tickets , food and drinks so it’ll be close to £1000 for the two of us. A bag of sand to go and watch some holograms, Mamma Mia! tbh I do want to go andp see it, ain't paying that though. |

See Kane has already suggested the next game could go into extra time and penalties. It's the round of 16 and on the easy side of the draw. Early 2000s, I was at an England friendly versus Sweden, at Old Trafford. It was unbelievably boring and so, a large part of the crowd started to make paper aeroplanes with the large advertising posters that had been placed on everyone’s seats (probably for Pepperoni or something, I can’t remember). Anyway, the excitement grew as it became clear that people were trying to reach the pitch. A huge roar went up when someone managed it. This in turn, spurred people on and the halfway line became the real target. The whoooooaaa’s reverberated around the ground while people attempted the feat, until, one guy managed it to an even bigger roar. I’m sure no one watched the game and the aeroplane challenge was all that anyone took away from the game. My effort was a shocker, travelling about three rows. Love this... |

I’ve been convinced for a number of years now that she’s part of the New World Order and her latest “performances” have only cemented that view. And I don’t care whether you read this or not, just stating my slightly irrational view of “Swifty”. Makes perfect sense to me. Coldplay's bland rock captured the previous generation, now the youngsters are being captured by Swift's bland pop. I don't mind Coldplay and they're great live. The new stuff however is absolute shite. |

Grace Jones at Piece Hall, Halifax.
Outstanding to be doing all that she does on stage at 76 (including hula hooping for over 10 minutes) Really great gig, with a top drawer backing band. Highlight along with the bigguns (Slave to the Rythm, Pull up to the bumper etc) was Williams Blood, one of her later ones. Powerhouse of a performance.

He has a chance to put things right on Tuesday. At least, vastly improve things. Start Mainoo or Wharton in midfield. Maybe even both, after Rice's performance against Denmark. Switch Foden into the 10, or drop him. He's no good on the left. Get Gordon on the left, who can run in behind and stretch the game. There's not much we can do about the left back situation. It's criminal we haven't got one LB in the entire squad. Give Watkins a start, who looked lively when he came on. Maybe a kick up the arse for Kane will remind him he has to put a bit more of a shift in. His place shouldn't be untouchable. The whole thing needs shaking up. He needs sacking and replacing ASAP. 5 million quid a year and he's ran out of steam and ideas. |
