Fast approaching. Lots of talk about the England squad but what about the other teams? How much do we really know about them? Has anyone seen enough to know what we’re really up against.
For me France are the team to beat again, Germany whilst being a team in transition will want it bad with home advantage. Spains young team looks very impressive and I’ve watched Portugal a couple of times lately, they’ve looked very impressive in attack.
Thoughts?

Was bad enough Portugal and Spain voting for each other and Malta and Cyprus no matter how bad the songs are. Quite fancy Hugen Flopsson the Icelandic entry this year |

I just hope it’s not ruined by Var/Cheating/Timewasting.. wouldn’t be surprised to see the Germans make the final, we should have as good a chance as anyone but said that for years!

France by a mile, if they are in the right place mentally they are the favourites Spain, they look like they used to look before that golden spell when they won everything : good players but lacking killer striker Quarters but maybe no further? Portugal might be more likely to score but are they still beholden to Ronaldo Dutch look terrible |

A striker is their obvious issue but if they can spread them through their wide attackers then they can go far. |

Ideally, you'd want someone better but it's outrageous how much he is slagged off. A good centre half and a great pro. Pickford likewise. His distribution is poor and he’s erratic. It’s no coincidence that Everton have struggled in recent years and he’s in goal. He’s a capable premier league keeper. He’s not top half and he’s not the kind of keeper who wins titles, European or otherwise. Now, I don’t think there’s a better option currently and he will play, I just don’t see him as good enough for us to win anything. I think our attacking options are phenomenal. I just don’t think we have enough defensively. Hopefully I’m wrong. |

Anyone got a dark horse yet? I think Ukraine are underrated by the bookies, not a bad side and in a poor group. Portugal should win their group with their 2nd XI, it’s piss poor.
