Now I know I'm going to get some stick but there must be a fair number who feel the same?
I'm happy to pay the £200 every other weekend to watch my team play quality football against quality opposition.
On the otherhand I'd only really make the effort in the Championship if I was going home for the weekend etc or it was a big game. No doubt this makes me not a proper fan but I'm being honest.
It is a hell of a cost to pay both in terms of time and money to come to Stoke to watch them play Doncaster and for the football to be sh**. Went to Brentford on Saturday and spent the second half in the bar......
So anyway i think they should give a refund if they dont get prooted . I am more than happy to pay my money uo front for the product I want to buy. To be honest it feels a bit like price discrimination to force people to buy tickets they might not want. Ie Championship Football. As I may lose my seat etc if I dont buy.
Thoughts?

Which personally I think is still a pretty good price to pay for Championship football even... I think the Club have got the season ticket pricing bang on!! For the record I don't think we'll be playing Championship football next season!!

hero-----you can't make the effort to watch stoke in the championsip but don't you think it's it's a hell of a cost to go to watch brentford in division 2 and spend the second half in the bar!! wouldn't even cross most people's minds not to renew their season tickets

Why don't you just buy a season ticket at early bird price and then sell it on if we don't get promoted? The ST price will have risen by then and there is bound to be someone who fancies Championship football at £15 a game.

It will be even less than £19 a game then. I was never too good at maths at school!! ;D ;D

I want to stay up just for the fact that relegation for me and my lad and every other exile will be more expensive with extra games in the ccc and petrol money for those games to find. It is actually cheaper for me if we stay up, how wierd is that.

Yes, please, don't buy your season ticket. May be you could just swap and tag along with another team. 19 games in the Prem or 23 in the Championship - bargain! It'll be a seat for someone else!

Yes but Stoke has the added 6 hour £60 Train journey plus all the other addons for coming back home for a weekend. It basically costs me £200 and my whole weekend to watch Stoke. I'm not prepared to do that to watch Championship Football.
And surely if we do get relegated the number of sales will be down 33% so at least 1 in 3 must feel the same?

Leave it and someone else can have it then, I would watch Stoke in any division, and have nothing but contempt for those who would only watch usin the top leagues. That's how I feel

Don't worry about it mate, there are 10000 others just like you.
Ignore the 'fuck off and watch Utd' tools. Chances are they are on their first season tickets and are feeling the exact same thing as you.

10/10 for honesty/stupidity mate. Stay in with the wife or wander round primark with her and the kids all day saturday... any alternative is priceless imo ;D How any of the 21,000 ST holders who have had the benefit of the Brit this season don't think it's worth renewing is unfathomable to me...I'm loving every second of this season, and the Championship was just as exciting when we neared play offs or automatic promotion....maybe I have no life
