I can't stand this low risk possession based football! We don't have the players for it.
Manhoef and Junho have not been the same players since Pelach came in.
Hopefully Pelach has some players in mind to try and make it work because at the moment we look worse than we did under Schumacher.

just one goal extra tonight or the weekend just gone would have seen us in the top 10 we need to be winning games like these someone will pop up with a '1 loss in 10' or '5 games unbeaten' stat but I cant recall a less dishwater unbeaten stretch in years These games have been against the bottom 6 or whatever it is. And we aren't winning. We all know what happens against the better teams in the league... I'm quite sure we will drop down the league sooner rather than later. We are in a false position. |

The *game* was awful. Stoke's performance was below par, but not dreadful. We had opposition that wanted to keep it tight and perhaps nick something. Our lack of a plan B was concerning, but not the be all and end all. Burnley is the real test. The stats say we'll get tonked. If not, maybe we have turned a corner. It was a dreadful display by Stoke. The passing was an absolute disgrace. I'm all for positivity but you can't dress it up. |

Will I ever learn? All you get on this thread is abuse for a team they are supposed to support. It didn't make pleasant viewing and several players had a poor game. Our passing at times was atrocious but do you know? We didn't lose so onto the next game. Get behind the team and manager! Hey you’re right! Sometimes you can see from repeated performances things won’t get better, you get a gut feeling it’s going to get worse rather than better. The fluent Spanish influence the club were looking for won’t ever happen . You just know already in your guts. As previously we’re getting one result in 5 that is the bare minimum to keep the wolves off the coach. January will be his time I think.

Well I'm going to say it that was completely shit ,we have a team of individuals who are finding it difficult to play a style that in my opinion is completely crap, I'm not impressed with how the coach wants to play his style may be good on a training pitch where there's no crunching tackling.
He's trying to get players play a way they just can't play Cannon may score a great goal now and again but he doesn't do anything else, Manhoef just can't take a man on
For some reason we just don't shoot anymore from outside the box, can someone please tell me the last time we shot on target from outside the box

I have sympathy with Cannon, he is a player that plays on the shoulder on the defenders and the amount of times he makes a run and we hardly ever attempt a ball over the top or a through ball.
It's like they have been told to not make any risks unless they are sure we won't lose possession.
It's very Man City but without the actual quality to play that way.

This last two, we've looked as poor as we've been for a long time, especially given we were playing the team at the bottom and an out of form Preston. More questions than answers and a feeling we'll be sliding down the table very soon is how I feel right now. |
