Superb today, not only making some crucial saves but saving an pushing away from danger, the passion also this guy has too! Finally a long term No.1.

The 'useless dwarf' brigade certainly seem to have piped down.

He reminds me of Pickford in a good way. He’s confident, aggressive and more than a little bit barmy. He’ll have a howler at some point as all keepers do but I just can’t see it derailing him.

Only concern i have, especially with his stock rising as Sweden No.1 is bigger an better thing's, however, fee will be 10 fold what we paid.

The guy has a bit of the eccentric about him, especially when he faces a peno. Like a Scandinavian Grobbelaar. Without any match fixing obvs.

I love him. Absolute nutter. If he wasn't a footballer he'd have a cured meat stall at small festivals.

He's brilliant. You could tell straight away how good he was. Seems a real character too and really seems to care. Love him. Our best player. Nice to finally have a quality number one again.

Yep he’s very reminiscent of Pickford - which to be honest was what worried me 🥲 but he seems to have the same brilliant bonkersness without the accompanying regular jittery moments so far.

Definitely going to throw the ball in the back of the net now you’ve said this…. Good keeper, finally!

He’s got just the right amount of nutcase in him that you want from a keeper.
Sort of bloke who’d go to his local on a horse and leave it outside.

He’ll leave Stoke City a fan favourite the same way he did at Rotherham.

I think being like Pickford is a good thing. He's an excellent keeper and has never let England down. The opposite in fact. You need that bit of craziness as a keeper.

I think he’s an outstanding keeper in many regards, and has become talismanic for England. He’s just got a major rick in him and sometimes gives me the willies in a way that Viktor doesn’t

Thanks to the OP.
I was looking for a thread about him earlier this evening to express my joy at how well he is performing.
He got us a point today and he kept us in the match early in the Boro Cup match before we got more goals. If he hasn't made saves in those matches things could have turned out significantly differently.
It is particularly pleasing because he was given some stick on this MB earlier in the season which was not justified.

He’s also better with his feet than I thought he’d be, but he doesn’t fuck around with it too much and puts actual goalkeeping first.

Getting better by the week.
I think his relatively shaky start was down to him being too pumped up, now he’s calmed down he looks like a great asset to the team……

Got a habit of pushing shouts out in front of him rather than out to the side
Extremely minor gripe
As above and as expected best keeper since relegation

Seems such a nice guy as well, lots of pleases and thank you’s to the ball boys whenever they passed him the ball or his drink.
During the warm up his kicking / passing was up there with the outfield players - he’s def got good feet.
And just the right amount of demented glint in his eye.

Makes me want to wear viking horns and participate in all that laping and rooting that Norman Clegg used to refer to, the way he preserved that tie today. In seriousness, he appears to have settled in well.
