He's the best we've had for a while but that's not too much competition. I like him but 100% convinced by some decision making at times but he's perfectly good enough for us right now.

Hopefully contract extended in new year if form continues He’s great and we couldn’t ask for better considering our current stature. …but why extend his contract so soon? He’s one of the highest paid players we have already!

Best keeper we've had since relegation from prem. He's a little unorthodox at times in his style, which is no bad thing so long as he keeps shots out. Excellent again yesterday, probably saved us a point there, as he did at Plymouth.
What really impresses me about him is his leadership and vocal qualities in and around the box. For a keeper that is relatively on the small side (Sorensen, Bego, Butland all got to be 6'5/6 for example) he does command his area superbly. Also a big character who cares about the club. In short, he's fucking ace ain't he?

One of those people it is impossible not to like and want to do well. Not only is he a great keeper, but I would wager that he is a beacon of light and optimism around the club day in day out. His infectious positivity and upbeat spirit must rub off on all his teammates.

Like a few other people I was really doubtful when he first arrived. Without resorting to insulting the man or his ability I thought the guy was too headstrong and was always an accident waiting to happen. So pleased to have been proven wrong.

Robin Olsen is still injured so pretty sure that Viktor will get another two caps for Sweden. :-)

Great to have a keeper with genuine character.
He’s far from flawless but I think his positivity and personality are what we’ve missed in our keepers.

I have always liked this guy.
It's took a little while for him to get settled in but he's very settled now.
Great keeper

Got a habit of pushing shouts out in front of him rather than out to the side Extremely minor gripe As above and as expected best keeper since relegation Yeah if he sorts that out I'd be thrilled. Best keeper since relegation and he's entertaining. He looks like a bargain so far.

Should have taken Villa's offer for Butland and made Davies number 1.

Love the fact he knew what he wanted by way of when it was time to leave Rotherham and make the switch to Stoke early in the transfer window, he wanted his immediate future sorted and in place.
I'm sure like majority of players do nowadays, he could have waited and held out a few months and perhaps had more lucrative or attractive offers than a bottom half Championship club chasing him but he liked the sound of Stoke and what we were offering him & he was happy to commit himself to the Jon Walters/SCFC project.
Says alot about his character & mindset I'd say, and so far with no reason to doubt, this definitely appears to be the case 🙌🏻👍🏻

He reminds me a bit of Grobelaar when he was at Liverpool.
Big character (in a good way) a little eccentric with the odd blunder.
But the good points far outweigh the bad. Some of the saves he’s made would have gone in over the last few seasons. He’s going to save us a lot of points whilst he’s here.

Should have taken Villa's offer for Butland and made Davies number 1. Davies wasn’t here when we got relegated, which is when the big money for Butland was being banded about. Wasn’t there like a £50m double deal for Butland and Allen from West Ham on the table?

Wasn’t there like a £50m double deal for Butland and Allen from West Ham on the table? Something silly, either way we should have snapped their hand off. That said we'd only have spunked it on more drops the way the shambles running is allowed it to go.

He will 100% drop a clanger at some point during the season, but he is going to save us so many points in the process.
I thought the way he clattered their player near the touchline at the end only for the ref to give just a throw in was hilarious.
The bloke is a madman, I love him.

He beat the player to the ball and headed it out? The only clattering was from the other player. Fantastic performance today, two top draw saves... Love it.
