Absolutely brilliant again today. All of those criticising him a few weeks ago need to go & lock themselves in a dark room… We know he’s a top keeper, he’s shown it on the pitch for ourselves & Rotherham. He kept us in the game today big time & got us a point imo. Reminds me a lot of Jorge Campos the old Mexican Keeper.

a bouncing spinning ball so what do you do? Under pressure yes get rid as quickly as possible, but with time? Surely you control the ball and then clear. He mis controls that in the middle of the goal and it’s an embarrassing own goal. You get it as far away as possible and bollock the idiot that played it…which is exactly what he did having seen the extended highlights i can confirm what i thought at the time, which was that it was a pretty easy back pass to control and then launch forward. Certainly not the bouncing spinning ball you suggested.

I think he gives the defence massive confidence, he is constantly encouraging, blocks, good tackles etc, certainly seems to be a good connection with defence & keeper now. Long may it continue.

I like the way when he takes the ball, he's like Zebedee, looking to release someone straight away whilst they have players forward.
Bursik was more like Dylan and then give it away.

Without doubt he’s our most influential player. Trouble is, if he carries on like this he won’t be ours next season 😏

After a bit of an iffy start, getting better and better with each game. Literally the first name on the team sheet and deservedly so!

One of my highlights was him racing out to bollock one of our players after a Norwich chance. I want to see that in my goalkeepers and we haven’t seen enough of it with previous keepers.

That first save was the best I've seen from a Stoke keeper in god knows how long. Maybe as good as any since Begovic. I do remember Butland doing a few pearlers but that one on Saturday was truly world class.

My fave player in the team...if I'm allowed to still have a 'fave' player in a team at my age ! 'Is Vik there? Yes he is!'

Watch the highlights back, its not a difficult ball to deal with It wasn't a great kick but we had at least 5 players between where the ball landed and our goal and the ball was in the air for more than long enough to get ourselves sorted out. Even then, the original shot was sailing harmlessly over the bar until it smacked Sergeant in the face and ricocheted to the only unmarked plaer in the box.

of course there is 😂. Watch the highlights back, its not a difficult ball to deal with Just to be clear are you stating Vic should save the shot? It's smashed past him absolutely not, and fir the record i thought he had a good game. There was any number of fuck ups that lead to the goal including a massive slice of luck as the ball deflects of Sargeants face straight into the path of the lad who scored, but it all stemmed from a rushed/sliced clearance that if it was controlled and then sent long none of the other stuff happens.

Dreadful back pass from Wilmot, yes not the best clearance but Wilmot more to blame for it than Johansson
