My stream is awful but looks like we have decent shape. Working very hard out of possession, which makes me nervous for the latter stages!
Quite like the look of Hull if I’m honest. Thankfully they look a bit like we did at Oxford every time they get near our box!

The big positive is passing between the lines at the first opportunity. Also, despite his dodgy finishing this evening, liking Manhoef in a more central role.

Does Mike Pejic ever watch Premier League games? He seems completely bemused by the centre backs standing close to the keeper on goal kicks, which has been a tactic for any decent team since the rule change 4 years ago.

Might be wrong but Manhoef taking the shot each time seems like a deliberate tactic to me. If and when Hull get wise to it won’t be surprised if he switches to looking for the pass instead.

We're really compact, you could throw a tea towel over the outfield 10 at times. Then we win possession with aggression and quickly counter to the fast forward two. |

Junior looks a bit “industrial” to me and seems to ball watch and get pulled out of position
NP can hopefully coach him to improve and he’ll be a decent asset

Manhoef is a potentially good player but needs to learn to pass instead of going for glory. A bit of both maybe.
Has anybody noticed how much more comfortable Junior Tech looks playing as a conventional full back?
