Always interesting to see a new managers lineup for his first game, there is always 1 player nobody expected to be in it. To me that's the player that's put real effort in at training and bought into the ideas put forward, but sadly it's usually the player that gets dogs abuse and questions are asked on what leverage he has over the new manager. I think we should all get behind whoever it is tbh. They obviously deserve the place.

Interest subject. I'd suggest that his first line-up, subject of course to players available, will show us something of his philosophy. Is he attack or defence minded? Does he go with tried & tested, or young & enthusiastic. Given that he himself is young, I would guess that he will go with old heads at C.H, then a smatter of both elsewhere. Just to try it out. It will be also interesting to see who he leaves out/on the bench. His subs/timing will show his hand as well. I hope that he goes out to attack & let the other side worry about us. Something that we called out for, but didn't see much of. As I say, interesting times. I like the look of him, & what he has to say. For all our sakes, lets hope that he is THE ONE.

Thihk he said he wasn't really attack or defensive minded I got the impression that he wants to attack as a team when need be but at times when required to defend we do that together that already tells me he's not either but when attacking he likes the Spanish style which can leave you open for the break away |

After a shaky start themselves they will probably be defensive and break against us. They've played both Leeds and Sheff U so could be a false picture, but GF of two is even worse than ours. It would be so Stoke to unveil the new manager then get beaten of course. I'm going to say we squeeze past them 2-1. |
