He's shown he can play on the right, if he does well centrally that just increases his profile and valuation. It worked well in the first half against Hull but not so much in the second. With Junho coming in off the left we were almost playing with two number 10s in the first half, in a sort of box midfield with Thompson and Burger. Interesting where Moran fits in if we persist with it unless he sees him as playing deeper but we would need someone with a big physical presence to play alongside him which I don’t see us having at the moment. Hopefully Lawal can be that when he comes back.

When Pep was made manager of Barcelona he had managed Barcelona B in the same division as Peralada 53 times. Like Pelach he had also one promotion with them. I think Barcelona is a far bigger club than Stoke. I don’t think Pep would have a clue what to do with Stoke or with 99% of clubs in the world. However he is expert at managing big egos at the biggest clubs. I think that's utter bollocks.

Quite a feisty snippet. Not messing about by the sound of it. Rather sounds like he already has his eye on one or two of 'em. Good, No effing about. We haven't got time for more of that bullcr@p. Sort 'em out Narcis. This has been hanging over us far too long.

Moran would be perfect for the role as he's always looking for the ball and is comfortable receiving it in tight spaces.

Quite liked that interview. Doesn't want to dwell on the Hull defeat, seems to know what he wants from the the team and looks determined to make it happen. Reading between the lines it sounds like he thinks the team is a bit too young and could do with some more experience in there so it will be interesting to see what happens in January.

Have to say after watching the press conference that I am impressed with what he says and the attitude. Ticks all the boxes for me but of course at this stage it's only talk. Truly hope that he can bring about the changes he talks of, it will take time but whether he gets that will depend upon whether some improvement can be seen.
Good luck to the guy, he has nothing to do with the feelings about the manner in which Schuey was sacked, so I wish him well.
Would love to see him and Stoke succeed

Feels like we could look a proper mess tomorrow , change of style , lots of information really concerned about this and Swansea and Sheffield especially . He has laid some ground for some bad days and im not sure we will have to wait too long for one two or even three

The training vid is great, looks like they are all enjoying themselves anyway!
Nothing else to do now but get behind NP and the team, really looking forward to seeing how we set up tomorrow.
Creo que el futuro es brillante!!

Depends where the possession takes place, as previously we have had teams with 70% possession and it’s mostly across the defence and goalie! You need to be direct when it suits with quick forward thinking players. Playing out from the back all the time can be predictable and dangerous. Wilmot?????

As Pelach tells the players in that video though if we are constantly giving the ball back to the opposition by going long too often then we will quickly become tired and unable to press teams which we want to do also. Which is arguably what happened second half against Hull. So keeping the ball for a bit at times is important to conserve energy.

I agree he has mostly played as an attacking midfielder but i think Pelach will want a more "dynamic" player in that position. I think Moran has the attributes to drop deeper in the right system.

Hooe he told Manhoef not to be so gready when he has the ball. He will be trying to tell him the important of making the correct decisions definitely, you don’t want to completely discourage him from shooting though as that’s a big part of his game.
