'Auditioning for Liberty X circa 2001' judging by those combat pants. He’ll be in Kappa trackie poppers with curtained blonde hair, lathered in 99p Happy Shopper hair gel come the weekend you watch. Backstreets Pelach, alright. For me laid a few times early 2000’s after that it was paco rueban,

Come on we need to give him some time He's inherited an unfit team A team short of confidence A team with players not up to this level and he's working with other managers signings Even if we do go down we need to look at it positively ie spend to invest on youth with no ffp I like what he's saying and we must give him time Take away the Spanish accent, dub it over with a Welsh accent you have Nathan jones. Well and truly out of his depth. And fuck off with it’s not his signings, on his first interview he said he knew the squad and knew what to fix. The guy has been promoted beyond his pay grade, I know it, we all know it, Walter’s they much the same. We are in big trouble.

I'm obviously missing something, what happens if we don't beat Derby? We potentially get ourselves into a relegation battle with a dismal run of results and very little confidence. Are you fucking on a wind up or pissed? We already are at the moment, but we have three quarters of the season left with the prospect of Lawal and Gallagher playing, the two players we spent our money on in the summmer. Coventry have recovered from similar situations to get into the playoffs for the past three seasons. I'm not expecting that from Stoke but we're hardly down if we lose on Saturday.

Just can’t make my mind up how much time to give him. I think if we’re shit against Derby I’ll be worried. Seen positive signs and glimpses of really decent football. Admittedly Portsmouth are shit, but if we were anything that night, we were clinical, took every chance and more. We let them come back, but it didn’t phase us and we went on to absolutely batter them, not just beat them. It’s an exaggerated example, I don’t even expect half of that weekly, but I at least want to be excited to watch Stoke and be proud of my team and the players, but I’m just bored shitless and deflated every week. I don’t care who is charge, I just don’t want to have the feeling that I don’t want to watch Stoke anymore. It’s the only thing that keeps me remotely interested in football. I hope the difference that night was Sam Gallagher and he’s the missing piece to our little shit show. I hope that he’s not the missing piece because if he is we are fucked given his injury record!!

He’s an over thinker for sure and prone to over talk another example
it’s ok if all the shots are from 25 / 30 meters well it wasn’t ok last night

This what? A load of reactive rubbish? It may be reactive, but I don’t think it’s rubbish. The stats since he has arrived back it up. It’s been a very poor start and we don’t really look like turning it around. We do now have a 5 game stretch but of games that are very winnable. Let’s see how he gets on.

When he was announced my thoughts were “who”, now at the stage where my thoughts are “why” and “when” do we get rid.
An appalling appointment and up there with Lambert

I thought he got it spot on last night. Yes it was a hard watch first half but he would have been crucified had he played some of the first teamers and they had got injured pre Derby.
Incidentally I saw plenty of dour performances under Pulis where we hardly got out of our half. The game plan almost worked but spoiled by a bit of bad luck and a poor referee.
Well done to the youngsters they kept at it and were a credit to the club.
Come on now let’s beat Derby!

I agree, and in terms of our defensive shape I think last night will have done us good against a team that had 80% possession. What was frustrating is second half apart from the goal I don't recall them having a shot of any note, just a shame we didn't take one of our opportunities at 2-2.......

Another snake oil salesman in the mould of Jones. However he wants to dress it up, Soton had 78% possession and 807!!! successful passes last night. Granted not as many shots as recently.
Easily THE most awful appointment since Lambert, it's a disaster waiting to happen and designed by Walters, who appears to have gone AWOL for the last few weeks as the calamity of his decision sunk in. Pelach needs to go, and quick with JW following him. He's not SJW after these last few weeks

We have a young lad looking like he’s just stepped out of Next standing on our touchline imposing his utter shite to our team

If he sees the positives from last night ie Dixon,Phillips and Seko, leaves the oaf Gibson and chaotic Wilmot out….he’ll get some credit from me. The only time I seem to enjoy watching us is when he plays our so called second string.Use these lads every game,it’ll take patience from us but these are the future and they show so much more promising than the usual shower.

Pelach needs to win a few football matches, there's not much doubt about that. It's Walters mad cap scheme so if Pelach is to be sacked mad Jon has to go with him. Perhaps try to get a sensible manager in. I'll do it if we are totally stuck. Can I just say I've never heard of you

Well I was there last night and the tactics were spot on - undone by Bonham staying on his line for the first goal and the ref was a proper shit house homer who gave us nothing. No way was that a pen - the ref was just guessing and the linesman didn't help him as he bottled it. Could have had two pens ourselves. Seko and Phillips were class. Players all playing for the gaffer and unlucky not to get to pens. Southamptons stadium was a disappointment. Was a good night out though.....

Spot on? like surrendering the pitch to a team struggling at the bottom of the premiership with a notorious leaky defence. The game plan almost worked? There was no game plan apart from damage limitation and to squander possession and territory time and time again. I've no problem with our youngsters but the set up was pathetic and bound to fail and did them no favours. The ref didn't lose us the game it was lost because we were meek and that's down to our head coach.

Things aren't as we would like them to be but we really need to be careful not to be on a downer about absolutely everything just for the sake of it. It's not Pelach's fault what has gone on before. He needs a bit of time and we simply have to play our part, however sceptical we may be.

There's a reason they are where they are - they were shit last season and they are the same this season - just in a league where fannying about and playing 'the right way' gets you nowhere.
