This 'arm in an unnatural position' has become something of a cliche recently. Not only is it's overuse becoming irritating but the basic premise that, in reality, nobody's arm can be in an 'unnatural position' unless it is severely injured, deformed at birth, dislocated or partially severed also annoys a pedantic git like me.
