I am not sure how this loan fell through, but imagine the club knew they were going to be sacking the manager.
The deal was done, Luke and Wolves terms were all agreed. At the 12th hour Stoke pulled out of the deal.. his dad was on his way down to the club to sign the relevant paperwork.
From what I have seen it left a sour taste in all parties mouths.

I’m not sure much sleep is going to be lost over not getting Cundle, a good end to last season but was mostly average throughout. Move on.
