Phillips looks a good signing. Starts for Blackburn as well as his half-season at Plymouth; so he’s further along his development than Dixon & Anderson. This way both Dixon and Anderson continue to get experience & to develop without the pressure of being relied upon every week at 17! Phillips is front-foot defender, quick and decent on ball. Blackburn fans really rate him! also intelligent so he’ll be a good decision-maker and quick learner!

I know it was only Carlisle but I was very impressed with Dixon at RB. For that reason alone I'd have him on the bench for when Tchamadeu is having a stinker. Have to agree with you there General. Whenever I've watched him I've been impressed. |

Despite being young he’s pretty much the perfect modern day centre back, and is clearl already ahead of Dixon and Anderson (who most of the board didn’t know existed before this pre season) and Phillips has over half a season at Plymouth and some starts for Blackburn before. |

We need to get behind the team. Sometimes matches don’t go the way we hope but it always helps the team when we are willing them on. Let’s get the stadium loud tomorrow.
