Away ties at Carlisle, Middlesbrough & now Southampton will clock up some miles on the journeys of this cup run, especially if it continues beyond the 4th round.
Be a nice feature story for us at Wembley for the Final when they describe our cup run to the far North West, North East and South Coast in the earlier rounds to get to Wembley! 😉🤣

To be honest it's a high class last 16, better than the FA Cup typically throws up.
Given that, it could have been far tougher than this. At least we have a punchers chance.
With our woeful league form this cheeky cup run could be our best and only chance of rescuing something from what looks like another turgid campaign.
