If he's an out and out 6 I think he'll be great signing. Japense league rarely fails to deliver and you know your signing a player with an outstanding attitude. Will help with Bae and also gives us an advantage if we wish to explore that market in the future which we should be. Seko Bosun Moran I think that will be the midfield by the end of the window. No burger? Is he on his way out? Or rotation? We got him cheap and got a good season out of him. Might be worth flipping?

Sell Burger and replace with a guy out until November. What madness is this? Even if I accept we are aiming only to be mid table this surely results in us being in amongst the dead men by the team we have a reasonable starting eleven?

It's more than likely the sun over egging it but it does state this I also interpreted what was said to be a few months not a minor thing. I am surprised this is a surprise?

It's more than likely the sun over egging it but it does state this Schumacher himself said "just a few weeks" so sounds like when the international break is over. Whoever said November is pulling a date out of their arse it seems 🤣

It's more than likely the sun over egging it but it does state this Yeah that is a concern! I suspected it'd definitely be a month plus when I saw Walters talking about it in the video. Wonder what the hell it is that was picked up that wasn't immediately a problem day-to-day? www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/13370494/inside-transfer-bosun-lawal-celtic-stoke-hidden-issue-medical/Sporting director Jon Walters revealed that the player's physical examinations revealed an issue that neither Stoke nor Celtic were aware of - and he won't be able to play for his new team for months.
But such is Stoke's belief in Lawal's potential and the fact they view him as a long-term signing ensured they pressed ahead with the transfer - beating other big clubs to his signature in the process.

Has to be something heart related? Definitely something that isn’t just a bog standard muscular or ligament injury.

What can you tell us about Bosun Lawal?Schumacher: "I'm really pleased to get him in. He looks a really good athlete, a really powerful lad. He can play in numerous positions and will give us that versatility. I wish he had been coming in and being available for the squad straight away but the medical has picked up something minor and it'll probably be a few weeks before we see him on the pitch but he's a good one for the squad and for the future." Can overlook a few weeks if you're signing a big player on a four-year contract?Schumacher: "We need to make sure we trust the squad we've got, which we do, and add to it when we can. It would have been ideal if the medical didn't show anything but it did and then we have to err on the side of caution because he's going to be here for a long time." Nothing there suggests a 4 month injury..

Nothing there suggests a 4 month injury.. The proof will be in the pudding when he eventually makes his debut but I don't understand the need to talk about long term future if it's such a minor injury/medical problem. After all, Sam Gallagher was only taken off as a precaution and suddenly is gone for 2 months.

I think you could tell from the Walters video that it was going to be a while. He even suggested some clubs may have walked away?
Month minimum. But how much longer than that is harder to speculate?

They must be certain it's an injury that will heal and won't be an issue longer term. There's a risk of course, but fingers crossed! Coupled with Gallagher's injury, it's not looking great. With Bosun, even once he's fit he'll need to get up to speed so I doubt we'll see him before October.

1 to 5 would be a start...

It just doesn't seem as if they've grasped the problem of last season at all and have only made a token(cheap) attempt at addressing it. The fixation with midfielders is quite bewildering.
