Maybe they could give him a job in the fanzone whilst he hangs about waiting for them to make their minds up if they want him to be 99th choice deep lying midfielder. Sure some deep fried Grasshopper skewers would sell like hot cakes.

It's turning into a strange one.
Reported by his club he'd left to sort out an overseas transfer 7 days ago, missed their game at the weekend, and there still seems to be no updates in Japan or over here. The other player mentioned in the initial statement as heading out of the club was announced by his Belgian club a few days ago
Sentinel say he's a target, but nothing more.
Could be red tape involved, but a complete news blackout is strange.
Him talking to numerous clubs could explain it, but if there are 4 or 5 Champ clubs interested in him , given his modest CV, that would be surprising, unless every club in the division thinks they now need to have a Japanese player?

Defo think more clubs are looking that direction for better value for the fact Japanese players seem to hit the ground running and are in general good eggs who behave themselves.
