Unreal today. Easily the sharpest forward I’ve seen at the bet365 for a long time. Movement excellent and super quick. Scores 15+ with good service Don’t worry, we will soon coach that out of him. Liverpool won’t recognise him when they get him back 😂

He actually looks like he knows the net is.
Been a while ain’t it!
Play him as a 9, give him service he will score. Without doubt

Was surprised how well he played down the middle. Timed his runs superbly and gave their defence real problems. So unlucky with the two shots that hit the post. If we had a proper striker he'd nail down that LW spot, but for now we might need him leading the line. Before the game I was one who’d said play him down the left and have a recognised striker in the middle. He took his goal brilliantly and could (and perhaps should) have had a hat trick. You could see when he went onto the left that his threat was negated because Maee and Ennis were offering nothing up front. Keep playing down the middle for me unless we sign a gem this week. Maee showed that he’s got no interest being here, and Ennis is just not good enough. Both showed they cannot change the game coming off the bench.

Definitely gave their defence something to think about with his movement. Nice to see us try and play him in behind rather than lumping it up to him against physical and experienced defenders like Bartley and Ajayi. Caused them more problems on his own than Mmae and Ennis did as a pair.

Caused them more problems on his own than Mmae and Ennis did as a pair. Imagine if we had a midfielder on the pitch that could slide the ball through quickly rather that 2 touches to control then check other options then finally sliding through with Koumas checking his run 2 or 3 times, personally I think Cundle would have been perfect.

I like this lad. Could be our answer. Great movement yesterday and looks a good finisher.

Very surprised how ready he was to take his chances. Thought he was out of it the first 10 mins or so, but give him half a chance and he'll turn it into a real full chance.
Impressed.

He was far better yesterday than I would have expected him to be. A player running into the channels and making it difficult for slow defenders! I really liked what I saw yesterday and I honestly think we would have taken all the 3 points if SS had picked another player than Gooch on the left side. Hopefully Bae will play there next time with Moran in the attacking midfield role.

That’s the spirit 🙄 I took the comment to mean that he was too good for the Championship which is exactly what I thought yesterday. If we can get good enough players around him we will score goals. Just out of interest was he given offside for the first one to hit the post? Looked close and no one has made a big deal of Million's miss if offside wasn't given.

Unfortunately probably another player in a long long list of Stoke recruits who join us and make an initial impact, only to fall away into non scoring indifference and ineptitude. The list extends from the likes of John Tudor right up to Andre Vidigal.

I cant remember the last time I saw a Striker in a Stoke Shirt make the sort of runs he made constantly on the shoulder and making well timed runs. Was still working his arse of into extra time. That's the striker position sorted for me for the year, just need back up. Would be wasted on the wing.

Let’s not place too much expectation on the lad. West Brom’s defenders sussed him out in the second half and handled him well. Other teams will have seen that. The big question is whether he can overcome experienced defenders watching him more carefully.

From what I saw on Saturday we would be wasting money buying another striker. Bartley is an absolute unit & Koumas run him ragged all game until he was moved out to the left. The only downside was the lack of quality behind him other than Manhoef. The amount of defense breaking runs he made in behind to only be ignored by 7 touches Thompson was criminal. It was clear to see that he was by far our biggest threat. Maybe switch him to the left once Gallagher is fit but until then he needs to be up top.

Lots of young players can't handle the 48+ games a season championship. PL managers may moan at the number of games, but they have no idea how it it further down, with matches coming thick and fast, sometimes maybe with just a single days rest between them.
