So no Bet 365 shirts ? No Bet365 on players shirts ? No gigantic mural at front ? No Bet365 roadwork signs ? Why?

Apoplexy in Bristol as we speak. Keyboards literally vapourising into thin air as emails are 'thrashed' off to the EFL. As a side note - now that ownership has changed, does that make the club ringfenced from previous FFP sanctions if they occurred under a technically different owner? Surely it's not that easy, else everyone would be doing it every summer!

I had to ask the daft question given there are so many loopholes in this fiasco.

So no Bet 365 shirts ? No Bet365 on players shirts ? No gigantic mural at front ? No Bet365 roadwork signs ? Maybe in the future..it makes sense for Stoke to move away from Bet365 entirely if this crackdown comes into effect. But i'd imagine even discussions about that won't be had until next season

They affirm the family’s commitment to the club otherwise you might think they were trying to make the club a more attractive investment prospect.

How are we suddenly debt free?
Good news either way.
We have fabulous owners IMHO.

I don’t believe this has anything to do with being related to Bet365 as they’ll continue to sponsor us. I’d assume this is probably an FFP move

So no Bet 365 shirts ? No Bet365 on players shirts ? No gigantic mural at front ? No Bet365 roadwork signs ? The shirt and stadium will be sponsored by Bet365 still. It's just that they are now technically a completely separate company.

How are we suddenly debt free? Good news either way. We have fabulous owners IMHO. Simple we owed bet365 circa £120M we don’t anymore. Plus they’ve given us back anywhere upto or over another £100M of fixed assets we no longer have to pay any rent on.

So , this sounding like a good move, but our owner has significantly less wealth than the whole of bet 365 or was it all really coming out of John and Peters money anyway

Well the stadium no longer belongs to Bet 365 as I understand it so how can there be a giant mural on the front saying Bet365 stadium. Also roadwork signs to Bet365 stadium. It’s no longer Bet 365 stadium or am I missing something ?

not sure why this is happening but it seems that we are no longer owned by Bet365 (legally) anybody have any ideas? Maybe distancing ourselves from any future football/gambling restrictions.. Maybe Denise is ready to sell BET 365, and this now won't include SCFC. Excellent news that SCFC now own stadium and training facilities.. Future of SCFC now in Coates hands with no risk of foreign investors buying BET365 and running us into the ground. COATES OUT..🤣🤣
