No we don't. We have 2 and a makeshift one, who is a bit shit but still... Tchamadeu is a perfectly good right back with plenty of physicality. If our attacking options provide more then you don't have to rely on a defender to be the main attacking threat. Leris looks like he’s leaving. We are desperate for a right back. We have two on the books. Tchamadeu and Gooch. We'll need rid of one of those if we are to bring another one in you'd think. |

Gooch is not a right back, sure he can play there (& left back but he's a winger/wing back not a bone fide RB in a back 4 would depend on who the opposition is, if no threat from wide left he's a good option there but against a decent wide player he's going to get done |

Different club by September... 😉 Bloody hell we are 1 New keeper 2 New fan zone 3 New standing are 4 New left back 5 New centre forward 6 New head of recruitment 7 Away fans moved 8 new skipper 10 New centre half 11 New training building approved 12 New first te coach 14 Gallagher , Campbell , Wesley , and the loans gone and as yet not replaced 15 Morris appointed to first team set up 16 Numeroous under 21s recruited Much more significant to come too over the next 12 moths. , , i never said everything would suit everyone me included but its a very very different environment already with 4 weeks to go in the window As I said the biggest change was still to.come . Sjw actually slipped a the end fk the season when he said the owner amd remember gave a wry oops smile . Leadership team a very tight group now amd with a clear plan we won't lime every step but they have a clear identity and plan We are indeed now a very different club and it's well before September and more to come on thr transfer front |

one guy says 'Surely if it’s a failed medical with a loan player but nothing overly serious they can put a clause in to say we’ll pay his wages while he’s fit or if he gets a bad injury he goes straight back. Doesn’t really seem to have affected him in his previous loans does it. Unless of course it’s something totally not medical related at all' don't know if that's right, don't think players can go back (& play) if injured once window is closed ? perhaps it will be a loan to January? which would require a renegotiation maybe SS has no interest in the player but suspect he does really, I'd be on the phone to Wolves maybe they are? appreciate Hoever divides opinion (& probably always will) think Hoever & Million is a good as an attacking threat as you get in this division |

Gooch is a very handy utility player but we really need a specialist right back on the books to cater for the very real possibility that Tchamadeu might struggle as first choice. |

He definitely divides opinion, but I'm firmly in the "move Heaven and Earth to get him back" category.
At my ever-advancing age, watching "bums off seats" footy is what I want, and this lad provided plenty of that last season...and his link-up play with Million will surely only improve even more.

And Hoever managed to be our most dangerous attacker half the time too. We also played pretty defensive, counter attacking football for a large part of it as well though. The eye test told me Hoever got rinsed by any winger that any clue what they were doing. No problems with him going forward though. I’ve seen a lot of good CB’s over the years, McNally just ain’t one of them. Sometimes the stats don’t tell the full story. |

I'd prefer him as a winger with a proper back behind him. His defensive side is lacking and at times laughable, attacking side is at times energetic and others PL quality.
If we can get a RB in and hoever plays in front of them, that would be good for me. If we can't get a RB in and only have him back. More of the same expectations for me. He'd Win us a few and lose us a few. If he leaves. Our turgid goal scoring is going to get even more rancid.
