It's a no brainer if he can get a top division club in England, Spain, Italy, Germany or France - Or even 1 of the big 3 in Holland/Portugal is better than slumming it in the Champo.

I still hope we get him though.

It's a no brainer if he can get a top division club in England, Spain, Italy, Germany or France - Or even 1 of the big 3 in Holland/Portugal is better than slumming it in the Champo.

Ah well good luck to him if he goes elsewhere, demonstrates the ambition if its a top division club.

I really do think his ceiling of potential was sky high and still expect him to challenge for a spot in the national team within the next 3 years.

I can take or leave Hoever. The potential and quality is clear to see and there's a constant sense that he isn't far from really clicking and being absolute top quality especially at this level.

However we also can't forget the very large period in the middle of last season where he was very poor and his defensive mistakes were vastly outweighing his attacking strengths and at one point he was a full on liability. Around January and early February time I think pretty much everyone was complaining about him and saying they'd prefer Junior to be playing. He definitely comes with a risk that you end up with more of those types of performances than the excellent ones at the end of the season and for the amount of wages he's on his worth is up for debate.

If he comes, I'm fairly happy because he does have some real quality and if we can get his form at the end of the season regularly he'd be brilliant. But I'm also aware that there's a good chance he spends his entire career like this and never fully matures and we could very easily be spending decent money on another hit and miss campaign.
