He'll have 1 year left next summer www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-wolves-transfer-kijana-hoever-9351297Hoever joined Wolves from Liverpool in 2020 on a five-year deal reportedly worth £9m and saw Diogo Jota move the other way. He signed a 12-month contract extension last summer before moving to Stoke, tying him to Wolves until 2026. "He's signed a new contract to protect us, so he’s not coming back with one year to go," said Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs at that point. “He’s got to go there and show more of what he showed last season. He was one of the most dangerous full-backs in the Championship at one point, but we want to see that over a whole season.”

Seriously ?? And here's me thinking we were going to pay 8m for him and pay his 40k a week wages on a permanent deal. Tell us something we don't know for a change. He’s literally just told us something we didn’t know

Typical brain dead response from you. Just a question, why do you always try to cause arguments with posters who share genuine and reliable information? Jealousy? Because I know for a fact that what he posts is just rubbish.

He called the Lawal deal out a month ago, we were tentatively linked with him I know but Chopper was the first to call it and has been right many times in the past, so how is it “rubbish”

He's not a 8 million player anymore, is he? I believe 2 mill would do it if someone would like to sign him permanently. Perhaps even less depending what was the reason him failing his medical last week. Wages still high though.

Brain dead but you come back every single time, give it a rest, it’s boring. All I want you to do is to post a name that we haven't been linked with previously or info that's not public knowledge. That's not so difficult surely ? Hackett you know full well it doesn't work like that. People post what they hear, it's not a case hey mate tell me something else no one else knows so I can post it on oatcake to prove ITK.

He’s likely got £3.6M left on their books if he signed a 5 year deal when joining from Liverpool. Can’t see why they’d sell him for much less than that. £1.8M left in a year so a years loan and a £2M option at the end of it would make sense.

Some knickers on the washing line having a good old dry I bet I don’t particularly rate LD, and I don’t think signing Lawal or Hoever have anything to do with him. Maybe Sam Gallagher, but only maybe but I do think Koumas has LD written all over him, but we need to be careful with expectations. I still think there’s a world where both remained (LD&JD) Tbf there’s probably the odd pair of mine out there 😂

He was one of the most dangerous full-backs in the Championship at one point, but we want to see that over a whole season.” So the remaining book value Wolves have would be £1.8m now, by the end of the season it’s nothing. They are signing a young full back to replace him, so can see the loan option only really in place so we can manage our FFP requirements.

Plus Wolves would be freed of paying his wages. But yeah they obviously still want money for him, or at least someone else to pay his wages and hoping his star would rise again while on loan.

That would make this an absolutely fantastic window. Yeah I think that has been one of our most balanced windows, ideally another CB and it’ll be perfect. Even without a CB, Bosun could fill in for us there if needed, Stevens as well and if we signed Hoever, I wouldn’t be surprised if he can cover RCB again if needed. Though yes signing a fully fledged CB would be the ideal choice.
