So then why was Junior first choice before he got injured ? And why have the club not gone all out to sign him ? Suppose you know better do you..not saying he's a bad player but we have a competent right back in Junior we only need a back up for him. I guess if Chopper is right and Hoever is in his way back, the manager’s ranking will quickly become clear. I personally doubt we are signing Hoever as back up Not a chance

If we loan him for another season we'll have borrowed him for longer than we've had many of our permanent signings.

Not a massive fan of Hoever tbf, but let’s see how it goes.
More concerning is the medical side of things. What’s his injury?

Wonder what sort of fee Wolves would be looking for as of the end of next season? If we loan him again we'd have had him for the best part of three years, so he probably won't have that long left on his current contract?

Signed a new deal before he came to us last season didn’t he? Makes a lot less difference to Wolves once his initial contract term is up he’s got zero value left on their books. The new contract is PSR neutral in fact by off loading his wages it would create more headroom for them. Can’t see how he can possibly have anymore than £4M left on the books probably less.

1-10 what’s the likelihood of Stansfield ending up here? 1 being most or least likely? Im guessing 10 is nailed on but just checking. I like detail although some say it’ll be the death of me 💀

Signed a new deal before he came to us last season didn’t he? He may well have. Sorry, that was more in answer to ‘he won’t have long left’ I think he signed a 4 year deal, so prob has 4 years left as of today. At best, he’s got 3 years left at today.

Irrelevant anyway with the £65m sale of Neto.
