I often wonder where we'd be if we'd signed a centre forward in the January window the season we were relegated.
Instead we decided to do things on the cheap, appoint Paul Lambert and have spent about £200m in 6 seasons to finish bottom half.
Genius thinking.

Paul Lambert was hardly our first choice and wasn't a case of on the cheap. |
