We didn't beat Southampton at the end of the 16/17 season. We'd have probably sacked Hughes and had all summer to find a replacement instead of panicking like mad men in January 2018.

We didn't beat Southampton at the end of the 16/17 season. We'd have probably sacked Hughes and had all summer to find a replacement instead of panicking like mad men in January 2018. For me there’s a clear argument for sacking him the season before. We were if free fall until we beat West Ham 3?-1 at home that bumped us up to 12/13th. Next what if, what if we went with potter instead of Hughes and stuck with him after we went down. |
