I've a big reservation about Cannon, his injury and lack of game time last season were at a critical stage in his development. If Archer is available from Villa I'd be moving heaven and earth to get him over Cannon personally. I think Archer will play a role at Villa this season. Looks like they've only got Watkins, Duran and Archer as their striking options so unless they bring someone else in I think he'll be a part of their rotation. |

Can't see that, maybe if he'd had a good season at Sheff Utd but he didn't. Championship loan again. He'll want plenty of minutes and won't get them there |

I think Villa have given Duran’s squad number away after he was trying to force a move to West Ham. In fact, he still is by the looks of it! |

If that is true then more reason for Archer to stay at Villa, especially as they've got more fixtures this year with Europe and whatnot.

I’m maybe a bit skeptical of untested or probably more fair to say inexperienced players coming in when it’s clearly an area we have struggled with. Equally though please no more Sam Vokes, but rather a younger Steven Fletcher. I live in hope 😂 if this lad can fit the bill then hopefully he turns up here (playing for us!) |

It's a yes from me. Mate totally get the positives and who am I to say what the club should be doing, I just know very little about him but the points you rightly point out are really positive. I just have that Liam Delap thought in the back of my mind, but that’s football for you, and he’s a bit more experienced as you point out. Happy if he comes and ecstatic if he can bag 1in3 and lead the line. |

Edit 10 goals not 8 Fuck knows, I can't say I can remember seeing him play but I have seen most of our forwards play and they wouldn't score 10 goals if they played non stop for a month. So yeah I'd be pretty pleased with this player I've not knowingly seen play. |
