He's definitely funnier than you Fucking hell not another who needs a psychology lesson. Funnier to you if you share his sense of humour. Mines maybe too dark, too contrary, too controversial, too confrontational for your liking. Oooohhh you’re just too cool for us. Now it all makes sense. You’re the Leonard Cohen of the Oatcake. See when I think of you like that I could almost like you. Visualising you singing ‘So long Marianne’ while smoking a cigarette. Putting the world to rights one Pernod at a time.

You'll just have to accept that there are quite a number of people who'd like him to go out on loan and come back when he's even stronger than that then. I think some people confuse strength with feistiness Joe Allen was feisty but I'd never describe him as being physically imposing. Was just making a statement of fact tbh.Not qualified to say whether he would benefit from a loan period or not.Should leave that to those best qualified to judge that imo. I thought most posts on here were people having an opinion on things we’re under qualified and too inexperienced to be taken too seriously. Sorry didn’t realise anybody took much notice.

Possibly that you're humourless reading your reply. As opposed to your stunning one liners. I’ve always made a point of pitching my humour to its target. There’s absolutely no fun in taking the piss out of someone if they don’t know you’re doing it. The jeopardy of their reaction is most of the fun. Did I pitch it at you? Sorry if the nasty man made you look silly.

loans haven’t exactly helped since we came down , been a lot of bad ones Cundle, McNally and Hoever were a key part of our survival last season. However, one of the reasons we have struggled since relegation is our poor recruitment from the loan system. The 5 players should all be among our best not sitting on the bench or even not playing at all. Mcnally and Hoever were also a massive part of nearly getting relegated, both poor

Both were far from being'poor' in ur opinion And in the opinion of manager/HC who kept picking them. You've only got to look at page upon page November December time. Dozens of Oatcake experts saying Hoever is fucking shit we'll send him back in January etc etc etc. They were told at the time that he was one of the best technical footballers at the club and would stay and go on to play a major role in our season.

Nothing worse than a man who laughs at his own jokes. My sister's cat peed in my car once on the way to the vet and the smell lingered in the carpets for weeks Trust me that was worse. No amount of magic trees could hide it. I went for a winter’s day hike in the Blue Ridge last year. It was colder than expected but I was doing a good pace, so I didn’t mind. On the drive back, the dog expressed her anal gland in the car and I had to sit there with the window open freezing to death while simultaneously trying not to gag. That was also worse.

Logs onto the Tom Cannon thread - sees two posts about a cat relieving itself in the back of a car and a dog dragging it's backside across the back of a car seat. ...and people moaned about puns.

To be fair, those smells don't go away Lookers. I went to Halfords and bought every car cleaner you could find including that foam with a brush and it wouldn't get rid of the odour of Charlton the cat's vet trip induced tinkle . I also had to have the car window open

All good, as long as they happen (or some of them, at least). He'd be ideal but I bet we're talking last week of the window if it happens. We have to make sure we have a good alternative or, if it looks like we're getting pissed about, move on.

I've a big reservation about Cannon, his injury and lack of game time last season were at a critical stage in his development.
If Archer is available from Villa I'd be moving heaven and earth to get him over Cannon personally.

Things would be looking a lot better with these three in the squad. Especially given two of them "knows the club." A serious point though given they ended last season here and we still have the same manager. I wonder what the record is for the number of times the same player has been loaned to the same club.

Get these 3 in before Sat.will give us a far better chance of picking up pts.before the window closes, plus the better we are doing the more chance of players wanting to come.
