Serious question… what qualifications do you need to become a scout for a football club? And is it remote working because surely our scouts haven’t been out too see him play and still decided to put all of our eggs into this particular basket?

If he turns out to be a busted flush we are fucked.
Ennis and Tezgel as alternatives is fucking diabolical.
Gallagher won’t manage 25 games so pointless even thinking about that waste of spunk.

The tears I shed when Peter Thorne left were more justified than I realised. 13 scorers with 10 or more in the last 20 seasons. Wow. Peter Thorne looked like he was still fit enough when on some interview or something recently. January potential |

Not sure how fit he is but he looks half arsed in the effort stakes. I don’t mind that he hasn’t scored but he doesn’t demonstrate any mobility. I’d play Koumas up front till he gets his fitness to a decent level. I agree with most of above but do think he showed more willing than Mmaee ever did, at least ran for the ball and tried to get a head on it. Not sure why Koumas came off unless trying not to burn him out. Mmaee got slated for far better performances than Cannon put in tonight. Looks like a bonkers decision to loan out Mmaee when Cannon is the only option currently available. |

He's only young himself despite looking 32. I don't think he's going to thrive as some sort of target man. Need to find a way to get the best out of him, can't afford another shocker up there.

Fucking hell. You'd think we've signed Shearer with some stuff being said about his performances. In fairness, we waited all summer and then spent a huge loan fee on him. Not unreasonable to expect him to look at least semi-capable in his first few games. Doesn't matter how long we waited. He's 21 and I believe, a bit part player for who he has played for. Good potential but he isn't going to be making the back pages for a while, if ever. |

Very worrying given that we shipped out Mmaee, who for all his faults can actuallly link play and hold up the ball. With Gallagher crocked; Ennis being a complete non-entity and Tezgel not being ready we are looking very short up top.
We’re overly reliant on Million (and Koumas to some extent) to score goals, which is completely unsustainable.
Cannon just looks miles off it, he’s even struggling with basics. And in this side it’s not like he’s going to get a couple of five yard tap ins to build confidence, is it?

It's difficult to not come across as just moaning....
But he's shit..
He doesn't lead the line.. he's useless In the air. He doesn't run in behind, he's not overly quick.
One thing I would say, is there is that lack of strickers anyone who scores a goal is considered a prospect.
He's shite.

If I'd tried thinking I'd have added Stein, remembered Biggins being a scorer but not 24 Anyway, sadly we now don't score so no imminent danger of reaching 5. |
