Excellent signing,better than what we've got.
Also the fact that a lot of teams were after him,some who are deemed more attractive and ambitious than us makes me feel very optimistic about this.

Schumacher will know him from Everton Walter’s best mate is Huth who is loan manager at Everton. If we hadn’t it would have been a huge blot. I think I’d have preferred Stansfield but if Cannon has been our no1 all window, Ill have to trust the transfer team. I'd have preferred Stansfield but clearly he was never a possibility now he's gone to Birmingham for £10m. With FFP we can't compete with that kind of competition and obviously Birmingham benefit from some loophole where for some reason they're allowed to spend more money now they've got relegated. He's been one of the most in demand strikers in the division and we've managed to sign him. We've done really well. Regardless of how he does on the pitch, the recruitment team have done their job well and landed the manager's top target. I completely agree with everything you’ve said. I can’t say I know much about cannon, how he plays or anything. But the fact we’ve beaten over half the league to get the managers top target is a huge positive. I’ve no doubt we’ve had the inside track with Huth too, but that’s what it’s all about, leveraging whatever you need to to get deals done. |

Begs the question what Wolves are hoping for if we can't afford him. Outside of SS there appears to have been very little interest. Maybe another loan just reduces the price next summer, also should he get injured etc. reduces the risk. Obviously increases the risk he has a good season and goes elsewhere. There is a difference between not being able to afford something and not being willing to pay what someone is asking for it. As I said baconboy, Begs the question of what Wolves are hoping for. They've now got a saleable assest rotting. |

I’d given up on us getting him.
Clearly there’s some talent in him. If he can get up and running quickly with goals it could be a fun signing. We’ve got the players to create chances so start banging them in Tom.

I've seen a lot of Leicester fans commenting that they're disappointed he's left and has been badly mismanaged since going there. I'm taking that as quite a good sign for our new #9

Do we know if he is going to be prolific, not seen much in the stats to say he is. Let’s hope he can score 15 goals or so this season and doesn’t dissapoint.

Is a very good front three at this level and as good a a few above.
Issue is iof we want to two- tens / eights we only have Moran. Which is why i suspect SS really wanted counsel so id expect top revisit that in jan if we can move a couple on
conundrum is Juno when everyone is fit but bein the championship i suspect thats not going to be that often encouragingly kpoumas can play on the right if million is out .
Gallagher gives a different option too

I know they say Laval has a back problem? I wonder if his is the same as Canon was found with?

You can have a minor fracture Minor injury and minor back fracture are 2 different things in my book. OK I'm not a medical expert He's expected back playing in 4-6 weeks apparently so can't be anything serious |
