His record is average at best. It’s a fair question. That's a DIFFERENT question though. Is his record any good? Up for discussion. Were numerous clubs trying to sign him? Yes. Ergo we achieved a coup by getting him to sign for us. By default because they wanted to buy him and we couldn’t presumably afford that and he wanted a loan? |

Bayern just hates any signing that he thinks is going get in the way of his favourite youngsters , if they’re good enough they will get game time , if not they won’t , if we sign Cundle as well him and Canon are better than Tez and Sol so will play a head of them , that’s what’s pissing him off

No because you’ll naturally have 2 players that can play the same position. But even the best teams don’t have two good players for every positions. That isn't the point. You're suggesting that we can't have two good players in the squad for ANY position, not EVERY, otherwise in your words it becomes "problematic". |

That’s not fishing, that’s just what he’s done. He got injured and done nothing since. Tell me how any of that is anything but what’s happened? Again… what were you hoping for? Give me example please? We’re not a big fish no longer and thanks to FFP can’t splash, so feeding off scraps. It’s a decent loan signing. He scored in a crap Preston side, hopefully we can give better service and he can get a decent few. |

Therefore, his signing is a coup. Exactly. His signing was a coup. Whether he turns out to be a good signing remains to be seen over time. And is a different question entirely. But doesn't mean it wasn't a coup to get him in the first place. |

If this is correct then it shows, yet again, that the Coates family go balls deep to get their manager everything they say they need to get us back up. It really doesn’t fill you with much confidence considering that you could see it from another galaxy how badly we needed a forward with a bit about them. |

Bayern really does put a damper on things. A young guy with a fair scoring record at this level, a position we have been crying out to fill and he appears to be moaning about it. I know he has Stoke City deep in his heart but, bloody hell, give it a rest occasionally and give the lad a chance. Our youngsters will get their chance, be it here from the bench, cup games or from loans to help their development.

Then there's all the context of: - young - hit the ground running in his first loan in the championship (in a bang average side) - bought by a better side than us - injured whilst trying to adapt to a new side (that's been through a very turbulent time of late - see Souttar) - clearly sought after by multiple clubs around us, etc He's better than what we have, so it's progress. We do, however, always have a knack of taking good strikers and making them look shit. |
