Love him, sounds like a really great lad, especially loved him referring to SJW as "Mr Walters" haha I'd picked up on that 'Mr Walters' as well, shows a level of respect which I really like. He seems genuinely appreciative to be here at Stoke & given the opportunity to sign for us. Definitely sounds as though he's got the SCFC DNA we've been craving off players for such a long time. Player arrival interviews are all very much, much of a muchness, once you've heard one you've heard them all, but really pleased I've watched this one as was a good insight onto who we've acquired & really impressed with his outlook & hopes and wishes for joining Stoke City. 'Mr Walters' clearly creates a great first impression 😉🤣 I agree! He speaks English very well, too. Especially for a lad who's never lived or played in the UK before. I've gone from hardly being able to pick members of the first team out of a line up to having trouble picking a favourite. |

Was a lot better defensively than I was expecting, dealt well with a few dangerous back post crosses and was pretty solid with every aspect of his game. Promising. |

I think he had a good game but he's certainly rough around the edges. Made a brilliant recovery sliding challenge after we scored. He's got long legs and is a pacy fucker so think he shines in the recovery rather than the anticipating the danger. Not afraid to get his head on the ball mind. He's exciting to watch going forward. Stark contrast to previous LBs we've had. Heavy touches mind and a few wayward passes. Good competitive debut I thought. |

Took a while to settle then looked really impressive in the first half I thought. Seemed to tire in the second half but lasted the 90. Has impressive acceleration rather than being fantastically quick but used little bursts of speed to get past people. |

I thought he was ok, like most he was better in the first half. He didn’t carry the ball as much as Hoever did and probably looked for a pass more than I’d like but he was ok. Defensively he was fine too, won some headers which was good especially considering there were concerns about his height on here. |

Was solid. Looks like he has hell of an engine. Solid defensively, excelled in recoveries. Will be excellent when he has a proper left winger (despite Gooch having a good game). |

Thought he had a good game. Looked solid enough defensively and decent going forward. Made a few mistakes but to be expected with coming into a new team and league. On the whole looks like he will do well here from what I've seen in preseason and today.

Very good. Solid and steady at the back and the couple of times he got caught out, his electric pace got him out of trouble. Thought he was very very quick.
It’s just nice to have a left back playing left back. It lets you be more at ease realising the right player is in the right position

Impressed me so far. Looks quick, solid enough at the back and comfortable in attack. Looks like he can mix it physicality wise aswell. Would be great if we could find players that tick so many boxes in other positions needed.

I hadn’t really thought much of him during pre season. But have to say I thought he was very good today. Made some crucial tackles. Link up play was good. And I think with a different player to gooch infront of him some of the passes he played could have led to some dangerous attacks.
If he continues and improves on today he will be some player

First half he was excellent, bombing past Gooch whenever possible which created so much time for Gooch as he couldn’t get doubled up on whilst they were tracking Bocats run. Very fast. Tidy on the ball.
Second half he tired and wasn’t up and down as much which really hindered Gooch who also looked knackered.
Overall I’d say he looked very promising.

I think the thing that surprised me the most today is how fast he actually is. He did seem rapid especially towards the end of the first half chasing a ball down and managed to overtake the Coventry player who had a pretty good lead on him |
