Eric Bocat is almost to Stoke City FC. The final details with the English second division are handled. Another departor at Stayen. Eric Bocat is about to sign a multi-year contract with Stoke City FC. The left wingback was already diligently looking for a new employer in winter, but then STVV found no agreement with the Turkish Trabzonspor. What's more, at the end of March, the Canaries took the option in Bocat's contract, so that the 24-year-old Frenchman would be associated with Sint-Truiden for a season longer. On the understanding: to catch money for Bocat from a new club, because the player had set his sights on a departure. The club board did not want to take the risk of holding Bocat against its will for a year longer. The transition would involve approximately 1.2 million euros. The final details are currently being completed. Bocat came to Haspengouw in the summer of 2022, at the insistence of Bernd Hollerbach, who got him on the radar through contacts at Moeksroen |

Looks good though not sure whether he can play LB. |

I must admit, I was tired when I saw the link last night and misread his name initially as Eric Bobcat.
Junior Bobcat sounds like a wedding singer from eastern Tennessee.
