He's clearly referred to as a left back on all the club's announcements so I doubt we'll be going to 3 at the back on a regular basis. Schumacher likes his attacking fullbacks. Hoever is as attacking full back as you can get and he played him in a back 4. Just seems to make sense to me that he’s a replacement for Hoever but on the other side. that’s how i see it |

He seems genuinely appreciative to be here at Stoke & given the opportunity to sign for us. Definitely sounds as though he's got the SCFC DNA we've been craving off players for such a long time. Player arrival interviews are all very much, much of a muchness, once you've heard one you've heard them all, but really pleased I've watched this one as was a good insight onto who we've acquired & really impressed with his outlook & hopes and wishes for joining Stoke City. 'Mr Walters' clearly creates a great first impression 😉🤣 |

Seems a really sound and grounded lad. If he's a good footballer with it then it could be a really nice parting gift from Jared.
Following on From Burger, Bae and Manhoef it could be 4 top notch players with plenty of profit to exploit. Fingers crossed.

The club confirmed in the Sentinel article that he was on their radar in January but funds dictated they went for Manhoef instead. |

Do we know, for sure it was our decision? Didn't the announcement just say he had left the club? Perhaps Jared didn't like what Schumacher was asking him to do. Not much point staying if you don't like what you're being asked to do. Whatever people think it is important that the recruitment team and manger are all reading from the, same page. |
