He'll be out the door ASAP with any luck Bang average player but with an appalling attitude What's the difference between average and bang average? Is average, well, average with bang average being crap and therefore below average in which case just say crap Sorry it just narks me as a meaningless phrase The other one that irritates is saying something is 'a big ask' instead of 'a tough task' That’s literally a very good question.

I genuinely think he would link up with Bae and Cundle perfectly Very much so But not enough goals from him

Probably not the 15+ goalscorer we hoped for, but he is decent on the ball though. Think he could be a surprise with Million on one side and Bae or another tricky winger on the other side.

Not seen anything so far that says he can cut it at this level. When he came he was as physical as Junho. However the latter seems to have seen what was needed and improved no end I don’t think we’ll get rid because I doubt anyone will buy him. Squad player next year with a few sub appearances

He has to go.It's obvious, when so many people are having great difficuly in spelling his name. We never had that problem with Jacob Brown.

Theres an intelligent in there somewhere. Whether we have the time and patience to see if he comes on to the fore is another thing. He seems to be more of a link player than an out and out striker to me.

Think Schuey managed the situation well last season, well enough to get him back into the team because of the poor options available to us. That said, I bet Schuey is still seething with him and his attitude and expect at the earliest opportunity he’s out the door.

It’s fine, you know exactly who he means. I don’t think it is fine. If someone’s going to start a thread about whether somebody is good enough to play for us on not they should at least have the decency to spell his name right. Personally I think Mmaee is a clever player but we haven’t seen the best of yet. I’m hopeful Shoomacker can get the best out of him next season, especially playing alongside Bay. My name is 5 letters long but the common spelling of it is four without the e at the end. Even friends I've known for years persist in missing off the e. It doesn't bother me at all apart from the one who every time she sends an email to me misses off the e in the address meaning I don't get it until I remind her to check she's got the address right.

We definitely haven't seen the best of him, because he's been crap overall. There have been glimpses though. We won't get our money back so I'd try and get something out of him in the team next year. Unless he is an unmanageable bellend of course.

I think there is a really good player in there, with the right fitness levels and conditioning. We definitely need another central striker to be more clinical in the box.. He’s just to slow for the modern game. VIDIGAL the same. Bad recruitment these two.

It’s not just a missing e though. Minor errors happen and are fine. Sorensen and Simonsen used to regularly be called Sorenson and Simonson for example. It’s the apostrophe and random ‘w’ insertion that gets me with this one. It’s just such a wild butchering of the name. Assuming your name is either Clarke or Cooke, it would be like calling you C’warke or C’woke.

The point I was making though was that sometimes as in email addresses it's important and sometimes it doesn't matter. I just hate it when a friend who is a real pedant corrects me on a minor details (not spelling) when she knows exactly what I mean.

He is a very, very good player, he is just not a lone CF
Put him just behind a proper CF and I think he will thrive

At the risk of being called a snowflake, my gripe about this one isn’t just pedantry. It’s like some people think “Oooh a foreign name. I could spend a few seconds out of my day learning how to spell it correctly. Nah, fuck it, I’ll just throw an apostrophe and a ‘w’ in there and the job’s a goodun”. And while it may not really matter in the context of an online football forum, it does make me question the soundness of people’s judgment of players when they can’t even be bothered to learn how to spell their names correctly.

Think he will be gone personally.
Though an intelligent footballer on the ball is play him behind the striker with wide options beside him would work well for all.

He looks like a 7/8 goals a season striker going on last season,if he had played 40/46 games.
Whether he can improve on that to getting 12/15 goals with a new squad next season,we will have to wait & see.
But can we put our hopes on can he do it with new players around him,or just pay out good money on a proven goal goalscorer, hoping it was good money spent?

He is a very, very good player, he is just not a lone CF Put him just behind a proper CF and I think he will thrive Experience tells me different, he's been even worse when played in that type of role on the odd occasion. He's too slow and lazy to operate wide too. He hasn't really got a best position. He's nesh, slow and lazy with the odd nice touch.

He wasn't a total failure and definitely showed glimpses of promise. Was dropped due to attitude but the club and player seemed to work things out or so it seemed as he was brought back for squad duties near end of season. Worth working with again for coming season and gives us a standard to work with for future recruitment.

Expect him to go if we can raise enough funds to get him gone and to sign a better replacement.
If he comes back fit he should stay though, he's probably carrying the lowest value he can and he's significantly better than alternative options.
When he first joined we created very few chances and the ones we did were crosses into the box which are low goal scoring chances and those which are poorly suited to him (to everyone bar Wesley who was dreadful).
Now with Junho, Manhoef and hopefully Cundle or equivalent we can make the most out of his technique and not pronounce his lack of pace.
With less pressure on him he'll score many more, his XG for this season looked like 1 in 3, so suggests he could get 15 goals which would be an excellent return when thinking of his link up play too.

Tough decisions to be made.

The other one that irritates is saying something is 'a big ask' I've recently been invited to a meal at a branch of an Italian chain restaurant that has a floorspace of over 40,000ft². It's a big Ask.

I think he’s pretty good technically and if we can play like we did towards the end of the season he will link up play well. 10 goals a season looks a push for him from what we’ve seen so far. We would be relying on the midfielders & wide forwards all chipping in with lots of goals. Not sure how many of the players that we have are capable of this.

Remember when it was all going sour for Schu & the rumours of bad attitudes/not playing for manager/fights etc was rife?
Im sure there is a great player in there somewhere, but not at Stoke City. Be done with & find a better option with a better attitude
