Reading his insta post it seems like we got rid. Him saying “after learning my time at the club was coming to an end” doesn’t sound like he made the decision. Just about to post similar. Certainly open to interpretation, but it's either his agent or the club, or maybe even his dad, that appear to have made the decision for him. Good luck Tye... except against us when I hope you can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo 😁 If it was the club you'd use firmer language like told our informed. "Learned" has been used to give the impression it wasn't his choice, most likely used when saying to the club who has made an offer to him that he'd said he'd sign if he was paid more or had a longer contract only "to learn" the club didn't accept his counter proposal.

Think mmaee could turn out to be really useful next season.

We might have to pay, but stop this ‘we’ll never find better’ bollox. We might, and they might be golden But of a thing on here A player leaving built up to be fair better than they actually were. To put things into perspective .Hoever has scored more goals than Campbell this season Cundle has almost as many Campbell started only 14 league games for us this season, only 3 more than Cundle and Hoever started 35, so some context is probably needed here. Mmaee (17) started more games than Campbell and scored 3 goals as well.

Reading Tyes statement it reads like he wants to stay but the club didn’t want to renew. Or would only renew on ‘our’ terms not his.

I would have kept him on the right terms for sure. Doubt there is anyone on a free who could be potentially as good or versatile as Tye, but if the terms aren’t right it’s goodbye.

Some still throwing out the 15/20 goals a season stuff

I hope he doesn't stay in this league. He will be a shrewd signing for somebody.

Nice that the goal that secured our survival was scored by him.

Oh well I was really hoping that Tye was going to come good this next season with some of the other new players around him. I wish him all the best (except if he's playing us ) Good Luck Tyrese!

All those who thought he’d sign a new contract consider yourselves mugged off. Good riddance to an underperforming player.

I'm disappointed to see him go.
I'm also a little concerned he might get a move to a bigger/better club which might in turn, get other players heads turning about their potential for a move (I'm thinking Bae, or Burger maybe) - looking from the outside thinking - if Tye can get a move to Bournemouth/Palace etc, then I sure as hell could.
I hope Campbell doesn't sign elsewhere in the Championship.

Possibly harsh but he’s been here while we’ve struggled for the last six years. As years pass by I do t think he’ll be well remembered perhaps in a similar vein to lightbourne, greenacre and co.
It was time to get rid for me, better needed and a new start for both parties

If it's a club decision (how can it not be based on that Instagram post?) then that possibly bodes well for the summer transfer plan/budget!

I know it's his right, but he hasn't done us any favours has he, by running his contract down. We get nothing for him, to help us with FFP.

It's a tough call. On the one hand he finally looks like he's putting the injuries behind him and progressing again, however on other it could equally turn out like the Butland situation did and we really can't afford another "maybe" in such a critical role next season.
I'm not a bit fan of Mmaee and Wesley and Ennis have arguably achieved less than Campbell this season so I've no real idea where we go from here. We need to uncover a Stein / Fuller from somewhere or hope one of the current squad (or Tezgel can step up?).

Wish him nothing but the best.
Mark my words, there is a hell of a player in there and if a team can eek that out of him then they will have a beast of a player.
I heard a while ago that he was rangers bound, since then we rejected a bid. Whether they go back in now he's free I don't know but I think people may be surprised by how many clubs might want to take the gamble being a free transfer

Good luck to him, when he’s on his A game he’s a real handful.

I might have this wrong but I'm sure I remember being told earlier in the season that he'd declined to enter into new contract talks and we made a final attempt in January which failed and as a result he's run his contract down. I have no idea where I heard this might have been 'Man in a pub' might even have been on here so could well be bollocks but it would be very strange that we as a club allowed a valuable asset to walk away for nothing without attempting to tie him to a contract which would mean we could ask a fee for him. It seems much more likely that he has deliberately run his contract down to make him more attractive to other clubs (ie free) and to get him a nice little signing on fee.
