Sad to see him go. There is clearly a talented player in there, but he seems to have lost him way somewhat. Whether that is a mental thing or a physical thing remains to be seen, as we had small glimpses of his ptotential these last 2 games. Wherever he ends up, i wish him the best, except against us, as he will sadly fall into the category of "What could have been" for us, along with the likes of Dean Crowe, Oli Shenton, etc. Good luck Ty I personally think it's mostly mental. His ACL injury was the obvious event and he never seemed to be the same player after other than flashes of his obvious talent. I'd actually changed my mind having previously wanted him to leave. So I'm a bit disappointed to see him go as I've got a sneaky feeling it'll come right for him soon. Good luck to him but as others have said NOT against us.

Do we know if he rejected terms or we just decided the wages he’s on would be better spent elsewhere?
It’s games like yesterday that make you think he’s a keeper, but when you zoom out and look at his career, he doesn’t score or contribute enough. That coupled with his fitness record probably show it’s for the best.

We are simply not going to sign a better option on a free. This is a classic case of a bird in the hand being worth two in the bush. Give him a new contract and play him wide left with Million wide right and Bae centrally behind. 100 percent. We couldn’t afford the fee he would command if we were buying him. Huge failure of leadership

We need at least one new striker. Tyrese going frees up a space without getting rid of MMaee or Ennis. Ennis is going to have to go through a major transformation over the summer to look remotely like a championship level striker. Maybe so, but it's not easy to get rid of somebody under contract.

Almost akin to how to kill two birds with one stone. We need to replace with fire and desire. Agreed get rid of the underperforming deadwood early on.

Made it sound as though he's not going anywhere in particular. If they were still talking last week.Good luck anyway. Looks the best for both parties.

Seems like we let him go from that Instagram post rather than him turning down an offer - hopefully means we have a good replacement lined up.
Personally would have been happy if Ty stayed but can see it might be best for everyone to have a fresh start.

Talented player when he tries, sadly that's his problem.

Certainly open to interpretation, but it's either his agent or the club, or maybe even his dad, that appear to have made the decision for him. Good luck Tye... except against us when I hope you can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo 😁

3 goals this season says it all really, can be good when he tries, but that isn't too often.

Judging by some of the opinions on here, I don't expect everyone to agree but putting whether we should have renewed his contract aside, I feel he has handled himself with dignity these last few weeks. I always saw him as being moody and arrogant (perhaps influenced by his Dad, who came over as a bit of a weapon at times), and I was half expecting some kind of 'two fingers in the air' reaction to the supporters who (perhaps with justification) have given him a hard time. I guess it's early days yet and I'll personally feel a bit aggrieved to see him kissing the badge at wherever he ends up, but good luck to the lad, he's obviously been a very popular member of the squad.

Best for both club and player. A few seasons ago the thought of losing Tye filled me with dread and apprehension. Not been the same player since his injury and as I say best outcome for everyone involved. Good luck to him for the future.

So our current forward line now looks something like this ...
RWG: Manhoeff
LWG: Jun-Ho / Vidigal
ST: Mmaee / Ennis / Lowe
It is definitely an area where we need to make significant improvements. Another striker and at least one winger.
That is assuming that this likes if Vidigal and Mmaee are not moved on as well.

I think it's clear from the rhetoric from both the manager and SJW that they both know what we need and who are surplus. There was no messing about with the retained list, which suggests that there will be no messing about with the recruitment.

To put things into perspective .Hoever has scored more goals than Campbell this season Cundle has almost as many

Sorry to see him go as I think he could have been back to his best under Schumacher, now we’ll never know.
Good luck Ty you’ve handled yourself well over these last few weeks, probably knowing you were for the off and your last few goals have been invaluable to the club.
Nice post from you as well considering some of the mostly unwarranted flak you have taken from some, in a team where you were singled out when you were no worse than the rest.

I always wanted him to be a star striker but I now realise he has never achieved his true potential in even one season at Stoke and I would say it was down to him that he did not, good luck to him though!

Great credit to the young man very sorry to see him leave and a level of integrity far higher than some of those that have stepped over the line from criticism to abuse Ive a feeling come the winter football will be saying how did stoke let that happen .

He's reached his limit at Stoke, he's never going to get any better here... Whether he will elsewhere will remain to be seen!!! Therefore, it's best for all parties he moves on!!!
Good luck Tyrese, where ever it is you're going??? 🤔

Think it’s a good move for the club and the player. Hope he does well It's never a good move for a club when a player who represents value leaves on a free transfer. Whether it's a good move for the player depends on who signs, or, if anyone signs him at all. He wouldn't be the first who have seriously miscalculated just how wanted he is or isn't.
