No they weren't Campbell has been way better at Stoke then Brown and Fletcher were for goals and assists which for me as a striker is what's important, see below; Brown- 8846 mins (98 games) 26 goals 6 assists Fletcher- 3972 mins (44 games) 12 goals 4 assists Campbell- 8023 mins (89 games) 32 goals 15 assists To be fair to Brown you should make some adjustments for the games he played at RB. Brown had had a lot more minutes as a centre forward than Campbell

Officially going. Bye 👋 Really impressed with the quick comms and decisive nature on this to stop the argument / debate. I've thought about this the last few weeks and tossed and turned between stay and go and my personal view is, he simply hasn't delivered enough in his time here. I think for the both of us, it's the correct decision.

For both the correct decision. Can see him going somewhere else and doing well but just not at it for a long period of time for us unfortunately.

Yeah we normally seem to take ages with the retained list and I know they’ve not officially announced the ones that actually matter have been announced. It’s a shame but I think it’s the correct call from him tbh. He’s hated here by most fans. I wouldn’t be arsed with that if I was him either. And as you say from our pov he hasn’t been the player we expected. I wish him well and hope he scores plenty except against us.

There was a point during MoN's tenure where I thought he was going to be the genuine article.
However, in the last couple of seasons he has never really got firing.
Injuries have played a part, but I also think that where to play him is an issue as well. He does not really suit playing as a lone forward and from interviews it seems like he did not particularly like being played out wide. He does not really suit either position.
It is probably the right time for both parties to part ways. I think that Tyrese needs a fresh start at a new club and I think that we need to freshen up our attacking options.

Can see him at someone like Hull. They seem to have landed into some money somehow.
Them or Rangers.
Good luck Ty.

Shame about Tyrese. Hope the club have someone decent lined up as a replacement. Have to put our faith in the people who brought us Manhoef, Burger and Junho to find a top striker.

Had his chance in January, glad we held firm. We can't afford to be indecisive.

Probably the right decision all in all, despite him looking like he might have something to offer in the last month or so.
All the best Tyrese.

That knee injury when he was flying was a big turning point, up to then he had a great understanding with Steven Fletcher and he's never been the same since. All the best Ty.

Think Mmaee, Cundle & Bae will link up really well, just need another ST in like Cannon with Tezgel in and around the first team.

At least we can recruit around the players we have. Tyrese was never going to fit up top on his own. My Nan can jump higher than he can. A clean break for both parties but just a bit irritating he’s going for free.

I wonder where Tye is headed. The speed of the announcement would suggest talks never even began. It’s either we’ve decided not to bother offering him a new deal, or he’s flat out refused to even discuss it. Maybe both?

He's been a good striker for us, can only imagine he's going to get more money elsewhere at a team that's better than us currently.
Ennis probably seen as his replacement.

Ah well. At times I’d pay for a taxi myself for him and at others I thought great goal scorer. Feels a little weird to see him go and apprehension on filling the gap. Then you realise how little he’s scored, how many different managers have tried to get a consistent tune and overall I think it’s right that he moves on.
He’s always seemed very close with Laurent so I wonder if this might have some impact on him too.

Good footballer not going to enough goals I think they will come. And tbh with how he plays bringing others in, if he can get 10 that’s enough.
