I think it’s the correct decision all round. I said on a thread early in the season that it was time for us to move on from him and for him to move on from us, unfortunately just nowhere near consistent enough and not been fit enough for a sustained period of time.

He's been a good striker for us, can only imagine he's going to get more money elsewhere at a team that's better than us currently. Ennis probably seen as his replacement. 36 goals in 164 games, 3 league goals this season, never breaking into double figures for a season, I don’t think we’ll miss him. Not suggesting Ennis is better aswell just don’t think Campbell will be missed too much |

i doubt he will be here and not arsed if he isn’t tbh , well overrated on here He should be sold, we offered him in January so he should take it as he is surplus, at least thats how i would look at it |

Rumour is that Derby are interested in Ty.
I’m interested in Margot Robbie but along with everything else I haven’t got the money to keep her happy. Same with Derby and Ty.

Good footballer not going to enough goals I think they will come. And tbh with how he plays bringing others in, if he can get 10 that’s enough. I share your optimism about Mmaee. And I'm gonna say now he'll get 15 goals next season in a more settled side. Good times are on the way... |

I think it’s the right time for both, he does seem popular within the club so that side of it’s a shame but that’s how it is.

I just have a feeling there's a quality player in there that like Manhoef and junho have shown needs a little bit of time to reveal itself fully. |

Never really fulfilled his early potential. Not the all action type Schumacher requires.

Wasn’t consistent enough to be a top top player.

I wonder where Tye is headed. The speed of the announcement would suggest talks never even began. It’s either we’ve decided not to bother offering him a new deal, or he’s flat out refused to even discuss it. Maybe both? Looking at the lack of celebration for his goal I'd say they never even got started. |

Hopefully Schumacher can get a lot more out of him if he's got Bae and Manhoef causing chaos down each flank like they have more recently. My only concern will be keeping hold of them for long if they carry on as they have the last few games. But in a way its a nice feeling knowing we have players coming through that are going to be in demand.. |

Campbell has great skills and scored some priceless goals. Thanks for that. Unfortunately, proved to be brittle and appeared to struggle in terms of commitment and motivation.
Sensible decision to run his contract down (him & us) and we can look for someone with more fire and contribution to the cause.
We move on - onwards and upwards. Time now to remove other players not fully commited.

The fact he wasn’t a regular starter this season when we have been crying out for goals speaks volumes about him. He has the talent to be banging goals in on a regular basis but consecutive managers have not selected him for whatever reason. On that basis I won’t lose any sleep over him going

I don’t see what the big fuss recently has been with the players around him. Laurent being the major one unless they are just really good mates… seemed to be really bigging him up after the goal custom celebration. Made a point of applauding him away from the others. Not seen them like that when another player has left ?

Shame. Still think he always looks our most dangerous threat when involved. Though doesn’t say much about what we currently have !
Hopefully what we have will improve and we can bring in better 🤞

Could be worth a punt for Everton? I'd tend to agree with you though. But its a funny old game. I mean two ex Stoke strikers ended up in the semis of the bloody champions league 😳 I do however think Campbell will start scoring more at championship level soon. I've been critical of him before but I'd have been okay with us giving him another year or 2 to see how he develops.. |
