I see we’re back to sacking him this week Nobody seriously wants that given our recent history with managers and we need stability but his inverted full back bullshit is just killing us and the players he's asking to do it. Just play a sensible and solid back four FFS. It's really easy to beat us these days. Play a wide system with quick wide players and a bit of physicality in midfield. Job done. yep , it won’t end well if he continues with it

I like Shoey and want him to do well but think he really needs to look at the tactical side second half where the opposing manager said they overloaded down the sides?
He has to consider how we reacted? Not criticism just learning?

I think it's good to keep revisiting.
1 win 1 loss, still acceptable. 1.5ppg
Early days but -2 gd isn't acceptable after 2 games.
Performances not great
Let's check in after say 10 games? Then say 15? Then 20?
Going on from last season to this, I don't see much of a change so that's a serious concern. If the keeper keeps letting goals in like those today we are fucked with or without a 20 goal striker. See his former team Rotherham.

This thread never saw the light of day last week after an unexpected win against Coventry with a weak team and a win against Carlisle with a bunch of kids.
If you haven't seen we were possibly in for a drubbing then you haven't been paying attention. Schumacher was stuck with a huge number of players and a squad not fit for purpose. He can't do anything other than ride it out with what he has available whilst the people upstairs sells and buy the players we clearly need. We just weren't equipped with the players to deal with Watford today who are on fire at the moment scoring for fun, we are where we are and our season won't start properly until the transfer window is closed. He doesn't deserve this

Didn't seem remotely angry about what he'd witnessed Didn't acknowledge they were starting to bully us, even in the last 25 minutes of the first half and said there were "plenty of positives" I'm all for keeping an even keel, but that was in the top 10 worst performances over the last few years and it'd be nice to see that at least acknowledged

He's under pressure already and he knows it. Talking bollocks like that is sadly something we've come accustomed to over the years.
A few more defeats along the way and we'll soon be at the end game again in November.

Alot of knee jerk reactions here considering we just played the team joint top in the league.

Alot of knee jerk reactions here considering we just played the team joint top in the league. We'll see where they come. I was amazed to hear Denis Smith say he expected them to finish top 6. Their owners have pulled up the financial drawbridge, and their fans were genuinely thinking they'd be in the bottom 4 or 5 with survival the aim

He will give the players the opportunity to put it right in the next game you'd imagine and if not he will likely let them know if the performance isn't good enough

He was bang on the money the game turned on the two snap goals. As much as you shouldn't overreact to beating highly fancied Coventry, this is the same. There will be ups and downs to come, why can't we just manage expectations more realistically?

Yeah, I didn't see any of the pre-season predictions have them above about 16th. I don't want to over-react, but hat's what has pissed me off about seeing them make us look stupid. Maybe they'll surprise everyone!

The same tactics that saw us into the bottom three, so no it isn't just one game. It's a clear repeat of what he did wrong last year. Why you keep peddling the nonsense that I don't like him and never have I don't know. You haven't got a clue what I like and don't like and you never engage in a debate to find out. Just cast your aspersions and disappear off.
