I’ve sent a strong email to the club. I know it’s not their fault but this deal is an absolute two fingers up to supporters who go week in and week out
Fuck off Sky

I can live with 12:30 on a Saturday…..it’s better than Friday night, Sunday or Monday night Personal choice mate. I reckon most people would disagree with you. I would love all the 12.30 to be Friday night but that's my personal choice.

Good luck to the EFL renewing the deal when the spectacle is so detrimentally damaged that the appetite for buying the rights is next to zero.
There’s no structure like we have in the English football league for the depth of league football, and the volume in which people travel all over the country so regularly. It’s so unique to our fan culture and should be protected. Imposing a 12:30 kick-off when fans are travelling 200+ miles is unreasonable beyond belief and ought to have been knocked back by the EFL as a part of the rights deal. We fans really need to put aside our affiliations to our clubs and come together to mobilise for this, it affects us all and we are more powerful together.
Whether we agree or not, the argument against the 3pm blackout is that lifting it would damage attendances and be detrimental to the health of these football clubs. Without knowing the full financial compensation each club will be receiving, it seems somewhat hypocritical to allow these unreasonable times to pass when it’s likely to damage clubs in a similar manner. This undermines the blackout rule, imo.
It’s another shot in the arm for an independent football regulator, as this is yet another example of internal footballing governance (EFL / Premier League) knowing the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

Almost certainly won’t be able to make the Coventry game now because of this kick off time.

Would it be easier to list the games we are on Sky Sports + up until January 25?.

I've got the Sky Sports package on Virgin Media, I just assumed I'd get Sky Sports + as normal, I'm now fearing it's for Sky customers only?

Any idea if this sky sports + channel works and if it is free with your current sky sports package?. Where will it appear on listings, or is it a red button option as midweek games were?.

Terrible Don't mind Friday night games at home, always a good atmosphere and leaves the weekend free to do whatever. Chances are the Boro game doesn't happen anyway as its FA Cup 4th round weekend and one of us will probably be in it.

Are you sure 4th round isn't one of those midweek rounds where we might end up playing on a Tuesday before this Friday?

It is also on the 8th www.thefa.com/competitions/thefacup/round-datesStupid to rearrange it, will be a Tuesday or Wednesday as you say.
