The assasination of JFK - There’s been so many films around this. I don’t believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. He was definately a patsy.
Aliens - Do they exist? There’s been numerous sightings. I think they do.
Lady Diana’s death in Paris - I’m not sure on this one but there’s something suspicious around it. Why wasn’t the road closed for longer
Lord Lucan - What happened to him after the death of the nanny? Is he still alive? He must be nearly 90 now. I think he could be still alive the question is where?
Covid aka Chinese flu - Where and how did it start? Was it man made?

The question is WILL WE ever know the reason? Whilst people don’t know there’ll always be WILD accusations and theories a bit like some of the UNSOLVED MURDERS over the years. edit I think only when we know the reason why there’s been a cover up can people truely judge the royals. Easy for people to start calling them out because they don’t like the RF but if this is a really sensitive issue eg mental health (eg an eating disorder which is very visible) where Kate’s not in a good place why wouldn’t they want to try and protect her and try to keep the issue private. It’s OK for people to speculate but until we know the reason why people need to calm down a bit. It’s interesting that those showing the most concern are the ones that have an axe to grind with the royal family. It’s good to know that they care so much  I guess it’s the price they have to pay for being in the public eye. |

The facts are already established, she has told us. She posted a photo on her Social Media which had obviously been doctored and when called out on it she immediately admitted she was crap at Photo-shopping. All of the other examples you gave the facts are disputed and are never likely to be established, which give rise to different Conspiracy Theories What you are talking about is what was Kate's motivation, I don't much care. What I do care about is that British Media including the BBC knowingly went along with a charade to fool the British Public. It raises the question, at least to me, what else are the Media prepared to do and say and on who's behalf. One of the hallmarks of a Democracy is having a Free Press, this is an assault on Democracy. |

I happened to search through the tv channels the other day and then I saw that UR (Educational Radio) broadcasted a tv program.
It was about a professor in conspiracy theories. He said the range goes from innocent small ideas to larger ones that involves a certain kind of people.
If I understand this correct, a conspiracy theory is something that's based on a lie, like a bad rumour. It has no evidence whatsoever.
The funny thing though was that while he was trying to explain some of them he actually was trapped in his own made up conspiracy theory. He didn't notice it and it wasn't made up.

Personally, I've noticed people who have a need to believe in a conspiracy theory most of the time don't have other things to believe in. But that's maybe just a conspiracy theory ...

Foucault's Pendulum is a superb book by Umberto Eco that explores conspiracy theories and the need for people to believe in either magical, occult or sinister groups operating in society s a way of explaining our sense of being helpless and out of control in our everyday lives
Where all the faked moon landing, 9/11 theories, etc fall down is the idea that all these plans were performed without error, their timing was on the point of being miraculous and no one talks or produces undeniable evidence and documentation to support the theories.
Power groups do conspire to conceal and distort public perceptions but common sense dictates that the alleged plans could not possibly run so smoothly when said governments/agencies can't organise even the simple plans without a cock up!
The origin, and ultimate location, of all these conspiracies lie within the minds of the thinkers as a pathological symptom of paranoia, distrust and a refusal to accept factual reality to explain the outcome of world events out of their control and contrary to their preferred world view
Or would I, as a minion of the Illuminati, say that anyway 😁

I believe that human's back then worked / were open to another consciousness, or were more entwined with space and the universe or something. Saw a clip today that has a women claiming she was shown footage that she claims is the real footage, that shows the driver turning with a gun and shoots JFK. She says you can see on the edited footage where the driver just drives the car and faces foewards that there is a tree that looks to be floating in mid air. It's a clip from the new octopus murders show on Netflix I believe. |

It's a term that nowadays is a manipulation tool. It might apply to certain things but on the whole it's the go to phrase for anything someone doesn't believe, but someone else might do. A lot of people simply throw it around without actually showing why they use it. When someone accuses someone of being a conspiracy theorist they never actually demonstrate what actually made them come to that conclusion.
The biggest conspiracy theory in existence is religion. And George Carlin demonstrates it perfectly

Once read a book by a fella called Graham Hancock about the Egyptian pyramids & how he believed they were 12,500 years old as at that time they would have lined up perfectly with Orion's Belt in the night sky, it was also the same time where the sphinx would be looking at the constellation of Leo, hence it being a lion. He then went on about how other pyramids in Cambodia & Latin America lined up with the stars from this same time, too. He reckons there was some mythical civillisation that lived on Easter Island and, due to the seas rising as the Ice Age ended, they set sail in different directions & spread their knowledge, hence these pyramids popping up in different corners of the world that, at that time, had no knowledge of each other. Great read & deffo belongs in this thread  |
