Fully agree he has looked shadow of himself and I would seriously consider benching him . Heโs got the same effect that ronaldo has on Portugal. You canโt drop your biggest goal scorer and name because of the reputation he has. Yet he makes our team worse the same as ronaldo has done for Portugal this year. Unfortunately Southgate has created a situation where he canโt drop Harry because his whole setup is with Kane and only Kane leading the attack. When Kane is not functioning, England are not functioning, it was only when Southgate made his substitutions that the team started to play off the cuff football that we looked like a genuine attacking threat. This is like ground hog day at Italia 90 when Bobby Robson eventually listened to his players about how they could play better that he changed the team and tactics that we came so near to lifting the World Cup, well that day has come around again and itโs up to Southgate to admit his mistakes and adapt his tactics.

I think Foden can be chucked in with that. Undoubtedly has the talent but just not turned up this tournament

Wonโt win anything until we get rid of him, heโs a bigger nuisance to us than other times, we go on the attack and heโs level with Rice FFS

Has to retire from international football.
Has looked a shadow of himself and needs a bloody long rest.

Needs a rest for sure, I wouldnโt be surprised if we see a Southgate/kane dual announcement confirming their exits from the squad.

Looks a shadow of his former self. Not sure if heโs injured or not conditioned right.
Heโs only 30 so it shouldnโt be a legs going issue.
Itโs weak management though, as itโs been like playing with 10 men all tournament. Heโs offered virtually nothing & has been so immobile.

Blokes a curse. How can someone with his talent fail to win a single thing!! Must be the first striker in Bayern history to do what he did and win fook all!

When you sit down and look at it, it's unbelievable really. He's literally bagged goals for fun yet cursed everything he's touched at the same time. He'll finish his career without a single medal to his name and having played in less FA Cup finals than Danny Pugh and Andy Wilkinson.

Manager should have been brave enough to have left him off the pitch today.

That should be it for Kane. Heโs been a brilliant goalscorer, but we need something different up top, pace. We also need a captain with a winnerโs mentality, and a manager with one too.

Ramsey dropped Jimmy Greaves in 66.
Harry has been great for England in the past but some times tough decisions have to be taken.

I saw him in the flesh v Italy at Wembley ahd while heโs bored a great goal and a pen it was obvious he was a bit heavier , for me he needs to come back to the premier league the conditioning required clearly suited him

Should have dropped him 2/3 games back. He I was either injured or his legs have gone. Today he was completely ineffective, maybe for Bayern you can stroll around and hope the other ten players create a chance for you, but not in international football. He looked totally spent and couldnโt affect the game at all. Added to which his inability to press or stay high meant no out call at all. Thatโs on Southgate though, he isnโt that type of player and even less so as his legs appear to have gone. If weโd started with Watkins to harass them then who knowsโฆ..

Manager should have been brave enough to have left him off the pitch today. Absolutely. That game was for Watkins all day long. Having said that, how do you drop your record scoring captain striker in the European final?

Dreadful for the last 4 weeks and even worse tonight. Played 60 minutes with 10 men in a final.

I think the Premiership has conditioned/seduced us to be cautious. Keep possession, take your time , play it steady from the back. Play it safe . Spain were more positive, more speculative, more creative and quicker. Perhaps we are over coached in this football industry that we've bought onto.
Having said that Spain were the best team in the tournament and we didn't do too badly. For me Pickford was our mom.

Time for Southgate to go and take Kane with him. It's no use taking on a team like Spain and playing reactive football with 10 men plus Kane. Blackpool Trams are more dynamic.

Part of Southgates formula of course but that relied on Rashford and others breaking at speed when he goes deep. Son at spurs. Great player but now past his best in my opinion and has got the sword of Damoclise (?) hanging around his neck.

Anyway if heโs got it hanging around his neck it must be fookin heavy to explain his performances.
